From the Office of the Arch Chancellor

Greetings once again!

Elections have just begun in the FRA, and this will be my last update. It's been a good two months in office, but I do not intend to run for Arch Chancellor again. But please, if you're a regional member or especially a Regional Assembly representative, come over to our forums and participate in elections. This is an important way you can have an effect on the alliance's future!

Over on the military side, since the last term, we've been working closer with some other defender orgs, such as Unibot's new group, the United Defenders League. The number of Ranger applications has increased recently, many of the newest Rangers showing plenty of promise.

We've been doing decently with defenses over the last two months, but honestly we haven't been doing really well with liberations. Finding 20-30 updaters in just a few days is really hard, and while we have been cooperating with the UDL on these liberations, we still don't have quite enough. More recruitment is necessary, and I'm hoping that we'll see more of that in the future.

The last term has seen one new member region joining, which didn't quite meet SBI's goal of 5 regions. I don't blame him though; that was a pretty high goal, one which I believe we've only met a couple times in FRA history.

Finally, the Regional Assembly: the term started out alright, with plenty of cleaning up and organization, but there has been very little activity in the RA since then, with only one topic currently being debated. The Speaker, Wibblefeet, has also been plagued with computer problems for the second half of his term. Overall though, he feels that the RA is in a better condition than he found it, and that even if the last two months haven't exactly been stellar, it was still a winning term overall.

Now for a few last words as Arch Chancellor. I've had fun over the last two months; I enjoyed working with the rest of my colleagues in the Cabinet, and I'd like to thank them for all their hard work. I can't wait to see what the new Cabinet has in store for the FRA, and I wish them all good luck!

That's all now, thanks for reading, and I'm sure you'll have a new update in a few weeks from whomever is elected Arch Chancellor!
