<div align=center>![]() First Corporate Memorandum Informational Edition Population: 611 NationStates Rank: 10th Corporate Hierarchy CEO: Sunny COO: Monty CTO: Vince Board of Directors: Two individuals, Monty and Sunny, with several years of experience in NationStates between them, discussed a new idea. They had seen many regions in NS from monarchies to democracies, and everything in-between. There was something, however, that both enjoyed, but hadn't seen much of: capitalism. Not in the sense of an economic theory, but with regards to political theory. With the addition of G3000, the three collaborated to create a region with a CEO, Board of Directors, and shareholders. When an individual joins, they are entitled as an employee and shareholder. As a shareholder, each person owns a stake in the region, granting them the right to have power over government decisions. The three devoted themselves, and are excited at the prospects. The three then joined up with an old friend, Vince, and with his help created the new forums. Our Business Model is the backbone of how Region Inc. operates (much like a Constitution), but we hope to provide an understanding of our region with this newsletter since we run things a bit differently. ![]() To help, here are some common terms and explanations in Region Inc.:</div> CEO = Head of State (elected by Board of Directors) COO = WA Delegate; maintains region on NS (Chosen by CEO) CTO = Head of Research & Development (full-time position) Board of Directors = Works as legislators and tasked to perform regional jobs (individually elected by shareholders and consists of the Chairman, Director of Human Resources, Director of Security, Director of Public Relations, and Director of Management) Chairman of the Board = Similar duties to a speaker of a legislative house Director of Human Resources = Manages recruitment, and judicial matters; responsible for hiring for each department Director of Security = Manages regional security; grants shareholder status (citizenship) Director of Public Relations = Manages relationships with other regions (including embassies, ambassadors, and works with CEO on treaties) Director of Management = Responsible for cultural affairs, polls, and maintaining share distribution Shareholders = Once a person is hired at Region Inc. (granted citizenship), they are given a share. Each share they possess results in how many votes they have. They gain shares by helping in recruitment. Shareholders have the final vote on legislation and treaties. Civil Disagreement = civil lawsuit or mediation; the process is private, but the outcome is public; mediated by Human Resources team member Defrauding the Shareholders = criminal lawsuit; Board of Directors will preside over the trial [align=center]We continue to work in not only improving our NS population, but also our forum population. We are excited at our prospects and thankful for your friendship. With best wishes from The Office of Public Relations on behalf of Region Inc.</div> |

<div align=center>![]() Fourth Corporate Memorandum Population: 612 NationStates Rank: 10th! Elections Take Place!!! ![]() With the last four weeks ending everyone in the company came together to once again vote for our Corporate Hierarchy. Most of the positions stayed the same, but a lot of new members have quickly gotten involved and joined the Board of Directors. Corporate Hierarchy CEO: Sunny COO: Linkray1000 CTO: Vince Board of Directors: Again, Congratulations to everyone that is now representing our company proudly! R.I.C.E Gets Down to Business In our last issue we presented you with our newest committee, the Region Inc Committee on Everything, and everything they have been doing. Even with recent elections taking away two of their key members, First RICE officer Juncland has had his crack team of thinkers proposing everything from Endorsement Counts to the possibilities of Establishing a Military. Here are some of the latest issues that are being presented to the Board of Directors for Vote. ![]() RICE Team putting all of their thinking caps together.
This is just what is on the current meeting agenda, several more bright ideas are coming up very soon. ![]() Fifth Corporate Memorandum Population: 575 NationStates Rank:11th Corporate hierarchy Executive Directors CEO: Nick COO: Linkray1000 CTO: Vince Board of Directors: Chairman of the Board: TBD Director of Human Resources: The Usi Director of Security: Tzepam Director of Public Relations: Notolecta Director of Management: Defenestrated Military Formed With the newly formed security forces Region Inc officially has a military. The security forces are lead by their commander Juncland. The security forces are currently in a defensive stance. Though there is talk of a possibility to get involved in warzones. Sunny Steps Down The first CEO of Region Inc announced that he would step down as soon as the 3rd board was elected and could vote in his replacement. Sunny believes his resignation will move the region forward and be a positive change after the recent misfortune that the region faced. ![]() Sunny makes his resignation speech to the region. 3rd Region Inc Elections ![]() The third Region Inc elections have now ended and Region Inc had two new directors. Notolecta replaced Derrik as director of public relations, while The USI replaced Antiquo as Director of human resources. Nick was re-elected as chairman and will serve his 3rd term in the position. We congratulate all new board members and wish them luck in their new positions. RIB Founded Region Inc passed a by-law that creates the RIB, Regional Intelligence Bureau, a branch of the department of security that will alert the board and the security forces of any threats to the region they can discover. Region Inc Gets New Top Dog The board has chosen the 2nd CEO of Region Inc, Nick! The first round of votes was a tie with 2 votes for Defenestrated, 2 votes for Nick, and one vote for Juncland. This resulted in a re-vote between Nick and Defenestrated, which turned out to be a 4-1 vote victory for Nick. Nick's third term as chairman will be cut short after serving just a few days, and a new chairman will be elected immediately. We congratulate Nick and wish him luck in his new position. ![]() Nick taking over the office of CEO. Region Inc Gets New Chairman for 5 Minutes. The chairman elections have ended and Region Inc had a new chairman of the board, for about 5 minutes. Sunny decided to decline his position as chairman, he said in a speech that he feels he needs to take a more passive role in the region. Another election will occur for the chairman. With best wishes from The Office of Public Relations on behalf of Region Inc. |

![]() Sixth Corporate Memorandum Population: 491 NationStates Rank:11th Corporate hierarchy Executive Directors CEO: Nick COO: Linkray1000 CTO: Vince Board of Directors: Chairman of the Board: Tanashia Director of Human Resources: Steve-Emily Director of Security: Tzepam Director of Public Relations: Notolecta Director of Management: Defenestrated Region Inc Gets New Chairman ![]() Tanashia is the new chairman of the board, after a string of temporary chairmen. The board finally gets back to work under it's new leader. We congratulate Tanashia and wish him luck. Region Inc Fires Director ![]() The Director of Human Resources, The USI, was removed from his board position for incompetence. This is the first time the board used the powers given to it from the 3rd amendment to remove a director that was not fulfilling his duty. As a result elections had to be opened for the position. Region Inc Gets New Director of Human Resources Region inc now has a new Director of Human Resources, Steve-Emily. Many in the company hope he will break the curse that plagues the Director of Human Resources position and stay active. We congratulate Steve-Emily and wish him luck. Controversy Spreads Throughout Region Inc Region Inc has had a fair amount of controversy after one man, Krankor, tried to unseat the delegate. The Region Inc delegate is chosen by the CEO an elected official, so the actions of Krankor spread outrage to many in Region Inc. Still some defended him, on the ground that they felt the delegate was doing a bad job. His case will be reviewed by the board. ![]() Our regional delegate fighting off krankor Endorsement Cap Passed As a result of the recent Krankor incident it was decided that an endorsement cap was necessary. The board recently passed the endorsement cap bylaw which dictates that anyone whom exceeds 40 endorsements will be ejected from the region, but will not be banned. The board later passed an amendment to the endorsement cap witch allows for nations to get waivers, which allow them to get within 15 endorsements of the delegate without being ejected, but if they receive a waiver and get within 15 endorsements of the delegate they may be banned. Note from the DoPR Apologies for the lateness of this issue. With best wishes from The Office of Public Relations on behalf of Region Inc. |

![]() Seventh Corporate Memorandum Population: 610 NationStates Rank:11th Corporate hierarchy Executive Directors CEO: Derrik COO: Linkray1000 CTO: Vince Board of Directors: Chairman of the Board: Tanashia Director of Human Resources: Rank Director of Security: Juncland Director of Public Relations: Notolecta Director of Management: Adidas Superstar Resignations ![]() Several leaders of Region Inc resigned within a short period of time. Nick the CEO of the region resigned from his post saying that he was displeased with his own activity, this leaves COO Linkray to hold the CEO position until a new one was chosen. Defenestrated and Tzepam both resigned for personal reasons in life and recent events inside the region, both left their assistant directors in charge of their executive tasks until replaces were chosen. Region Inc Gets New Top Dog ![]() With the resignation of Nick the Board was forced to elect a new CEO. Derrik won the election 4-1 against Notolecta, with many Board members sighting that we needed to avoid farther disruption in the Board. One of Derrik's first actions as CEO was to appoint replacements for Tzepam and Defenestrated as per the business model, since elections were less than three weeks away. The chosen replacements were Juncland for Tzepam and Adidas Superstar for Defenestrated, both of these replacements were the assistant directors under the directors whom resigned. We congratulate Derrik, and wish him luck. The Board Works Hard The Board went through a lot of new amendments and by laws recently, as well as dealing with some of the first trials. There was also an CEO Review and the election of the new CEO. Including the earlier parts of the term, the Board has touched 18 different issues this term, rather good for a term that had multiple periods of time with missing Board members and even a vacant chairman spot for much of the beginning of the term. One of these many issues touched was the first trial in the history of Region inc the Krankor trial. This trial resulted in short ban for Krankor followed by probation, perhaps a sign that the Region Inc judicial system is forgiving. This trial did however reveal that the judicial system in Region Inc is extremely rough and requires much fine tuning. The Board passed several new bylaws and amendments as well. One of these is new payroll system which allows our R&D team to finally finish implementing our economy, which is meant to be the center piece of region inc. ![]() The board couldn't take a break at the end of the third term. Elections!!! Region inc elections have ended. We once again have a new board this time, many position have directors that have never been elected to the board before. The only two directors to be re-elected from last term were Tanashia as chairman, and Notolecta as director of public relations. This is the first time Region inc has had a director of public relations be re-elected. Last terms temporary board members appointed by the CEO, Juncland and Adidas Superstar, managed to get elected to director of security and director of management respectively. There is also a first time director this term, Rank, who took the director of human resources spot from Steve-Emily. We congratulate all the elected directors, and wish them luck. ![]() Part of the fourth term board meets shortly after elections. With best wishes from The Office of Public Relations on behalf of Region Inc. Our Public Relations Team: Notolecta Sika1 |

![]() Corporate Press Release XI Population: 583 NationStates Rank: 13th Corporate Hierarchy CEO - Derrik COO - linkray1000 CTO - Deyan Board of Directors Chairman of the Board: Henry Von Hoffman Director of Public Relations: Saveaiur Director of Human Resources: Clover Director of Management: Chasmania Director of Security: Tzepam Region Inc: Not Down & Out The arrow represents the increasing awesomeness of Region Inc. It’s been awhile since our last foreign update to our allies. You may be asking “Where the hell is Region Inc” or “Why does my espresso taste like water” or other various, important questions. For that, we apologize, and we hope this foreign update makes it up for the time we haven’t spent with you. Now, onto the news. Region Inc last sent an update before the fifth term, which means there is a lot of info to cover in a short time. Where do we begin? I suppose a quick look at the fifth term elections and everything that happened since would be our best bet. The fifth term saw new faces joining the Board of Directors and old faces moving out of their beloved offices. Vince, who was previously the CTO of the company, became the new Chairman of the Board for Region Inc. Ford Geraldi was elected as our new Director of Public Relations, a job he held for a bit in the 4th term. Chasmania stepped up as Director of Management, and quickly got to work on the budget for the new term. Rank and Tzepam returned for their positions of Director of Human Resources and Director of Security respectively. Sadly, this great team would quickly disappear with Chasmania being the only director to serve out his full term. Thankfully, that situation was quickly fixed by making Henry the Chairman, Clover the Director of Human Resources, Saveaiur the Director of Public Relations, and Defenestrated stepped up to temporarily take care of the duties of the Director of Security. Juncland, who served as CEO for a time, was also replaced by Derrik. Derrik, who was actually the CEO before Juncland, quickly worked with the new Board of Directors to get the Region back on its feet. The new team of executives has worked tirelessly to improve the region and we thank them for all of their efforts and hope to see them again for the 6th term. - Tanashia Region Inc Nominations, Debates, and Elections! ![]() There was an audience there, trust me. Elections for the sixth term are finally over and the shareholders can feel safe once more. No longer do they have to stay up at night with a shotgun. No longer do they have to fear Region Inc security coming into their homes and kidnapping them. No longer do they have to fear about being thrown into a black van and forced to take part in an election. Just kidding, our vans are actually dark blue. A record number of shareholders stood up for nominations in hopes of becoming members of the Board of Directors, which happened a few days before the one year anniversary of Region Inc. Henry and Tanashia ran against each other for Chairman of the Board in an event that mirrored the 4th term, except Henry was now the Chairman, not Tanashia. Saveaiur and Robert were, once again, fighting it out to become the Director of Public Relations (note: They weren’t actually fighting). Robert Hawkins was also running for Director of Human Resources against Clover, who was the current Director. Management saw a debate between newcomer Darkmoss and current director Chasmania. Finally, Security saw four people fighting it out (note: no one was injured) for the position. Tanashia, Happy Capitalist, Steve-Emily, and Tzepam battled it out (note: actually, someone did get a papercut) for the prestigious position. When the dust cleared from the battle (note: I’m the one who got the papercut, actually), only five people remained standing (note: I got a batman band-aid, it was awesome). Henry was still the Chairman, Saveaiur was still the Director of Public Relations, Clover was still the Director of Human Resources, Chasmania was still taking care of Management, and Tzepam didn’t have to clean out his office. All in all, everyone who got the position in the middle of the fifth term kept their position. Of course, time will tell if they will still keep their positions when the 7th term elections begin in 10 weeks. - Tanashia Celebrating The First of Many ![]() Dress formal, but be ready to party That's right! February 24th marked the one year anniversary since Region Inc.'s founding, and the party is in full swing! This journalist is happy to report that, as of this writing, nobody has been arrested or had the cops called on them. This means we aren't having enough fun, so get your butts over to the Region Inc. Forums and leave your humiliation at the coat check, because we are gonna rock an' roll all night and party every day. Or at least until the booze runs out! The celebrations will also be including speeches made by the region's top executives, and an awards ceremony that, should you be lucky enough to win, will cover the expenses you've incurred while trashing the bar. So don't waste any more time, and head on over to the Region Inc. Forums and make your appearance on the red carpet. - Saveaiur |
