Under my term, I would like the following will be implemented, to serve as a resolution for inactive embassies.

Quote:

Dear Friends,
We would like to inform you of the new Resolution that has been implemented by the The South Pacific's Ministry of Foreign Affairs as of
Quote:

Inactive Embassies' Resolution
If any embassy fails to post in their embassy for 5 months or so, they will be given a week's notice for them to take action. If a response be of absence, the Foreign Ministry of The South Pacific shall then assume that the region who owns the embassy has no more interest in relations or is dead. In such a situation, their embassy will thereby be closed.

Thank you for your consideration.

-TSP Foreign Ministry

The reason for this is that we have many inactive embassies, and I wish to maximize the potential usage of ambassadors for our region. It would be unfair to regions who are interested in having relations with us without an ambassador.

I will leave this up for one week, if you have any concerns please either post them here or TG them to me.

And the reason for such a high number is that it takes us about 4 months to write a report.
(Thanks to northern harmonia, as i took this from the TWP)

Unfortunately I cannot start a topic here, so I am forced to post here. Though the thread title makes my point easier. ^_^

There have been no updates from TSP in your embassy in Gatesville since 31st of August 2006. Your embassy has been moved to the archives section due to inactiveness, but due to our Mutual Protection Act with TSP, I will have absolutely no issues in re-opening your embassy if requested. So, feel free to PM me here, or in Gatesville's forum if you wish for the embassy to be re-opened.

Thank you for your time,

thanks, pope. I've been trying to figure out which ones of our "overseas" embassies are still open.

I'll probably pop on over in the near future then :)
