Time off...; before bad behavior rubs off on Kloister

Dear Folkses and Others of a South Pacifican Nature,

Once again I find that serving in the government has worn me out. Not that Kloister has been a mean boss or anything. :P

But seriously, I find time and again that my political outlook does not jibe with actions taken by the Cabinet. Diversity is only genuine when things are dealt with openly and when that variety is reflected in they way we deal with one another.

Eventually all political systems evolve into masses of bureaucracy that serve the needs of a few and not the many. If I were going to give a eulogy for the region, it would definitely include the word elitism. But I'm not giving a eulogy.

This is a call for reform. Real reform.

NS started as a marketing gimmick, became a worldwide sensation and has now drifted into the realm of dying games. Why should we care? I'll leave that question to you, but make just one last remark here. In the real world money changes everything, even the best of relationships. In the virtual world, I'd say it's power.

Unless we change the basic power structures of this region, of this part of the NS world, then this might as well be a eulogy.

Viva la revolution!

Former Minister of Security/other stuff

I am not sure if you are talking about the Chiarizio ejection. If you aren't, please forgive me.

I do not believe that Chiarizio received a fair shake. I do not believe that there was enough hard evidence that Chiarizio was a threat to this region. The most damning evidence we had against him was that he was endorsing many people in the region. Although it is true that Chiarizio surpassed the 50% mark, he never went much higher than that, and his rise above the 50% mark could explained by the fluctuation of Fudgie's endorsement count. Chiarizio actively campaigned in the region for people to endorse Fudgie. This does not seem to be the mark of a guilty man.

I also believe that the Cabinet employed borderline-unethical methods in this whole saga. I protested against what was going on in the Cabinet, but I don't believe I was vociferous enough. For this, I apologize to the people of the South Pacific. I will try to make it up to each and every one of you.

J Delight, I am sorry that this matter has dissillusioned you so much with the government that it forced you to leave. I hope that you will return in the future.

"Viva la revolucion" is merely a slogan and says nothing.

You say there is something wrong with the power distribution in the region. Out in the open with it, so we can discuss it.

He's out? Wow....

I have a few pms from him where we discussed the "gee whiz" factor of endorsements and the silliness of the names, etc. To find out that he's out is very disturbing to me. Did I mention very?

That's okay, JD. We live in the US. We should be used to preemptive strikes.
