Market Street Street Market; Wake up and smell the brownies...

Turning a corner by the Christie Memorial Fountain, you come across a place seemingly made of pure colour. Every available wall, lamp post and fire hydrant is bedecked with flowers, flags and confetti, a large banner above your head is painted in garish colours with the words "Welcome to Market Street Street Market!" and a small folk singer is sitting on the pavement, quietly playing his flute.

A woman sits by a wooden stall wearing a sumptuos long green cloak - a present from days long past, a coffee from Fudgie's in her hand, turning the pages of the latest edition of "Me and my Badger". At her feet is a wicker basket, holding two sleeping badgers - their name tags read "Philipe" and "Guinivere" - and by her side is a golden pineapple. A plaque on the front of the stall reads "licensed to sell Rum and Gummi based beverages" (damn those new licensing laws, we did perfectly well without a license before...). Her long red hair is drawn back into a bun, she wears an apron, striped like the red-and-white canopy above her head, and she smiles warmly as she sees you approach

Welcome to Market Street Street Market! My name is Fidei and I'll be happy to help you today. Please look around, please do, there's a lot to see here. This here is Fidei's Farm Stall; our specialities are brownies, Red Dragon soup and our infamous Rum Gummi Milkshakes - don't you worry, all of our gummies are treated with the upmost respect, raised free range and harvested with the greatest tenderness possible.
Next door we have Philipe's Master Welding - for all of your welding needs - and our resident musician does do requests for a small tip!

You want to open a stall? That's simple enough; just pull up a barrel and tell us what you sell! You want to adopt a badger? Well come this way, we can help you with that (they're so darn cute I don't blame you). You just want a drink? Pull up a hammock! They're the best way to relax and we'll bring your drink to you!

I do hope you enjoyed yourself, and do come again, we're happy to have company.

Walking away from the market, you see the woman settle herself into a hammock and pour herself a milkshake. You feel oddly...content, although you're not quite sure why. There's something magical about that place, and that woman. The sun is setting, casting warm shadows over the market, making the colours burn with an even greater vibrancy. However far away you get, the tinkling of the musician's flute stays with you. You know you'll be back soon...

Save trees, eat more beavers!

A Small querky stranger comes waddelling in to the market. His attire comprises of a long hooded black robe richy enguilded with silver and gold and some simple shoes, seemingly bags of black silk. Upon his person his only material possesions, a small dragon-skin bag smothered with mithril pearls, and a large brown suitcase.

It shuffles into a dark corner and disapeers into a thick mist of Black fog, the fog slowly clears and a small stall in the shape of a Lavish tent, packed full of many shiny mesmerising things is revealed.

Something within the mysterious dark hood, its deep penetrating stare, draws you closer....

*Starts from her hammock and looks around*

You know, I could have sworn I just saw a small penguin-shaped figuire carrying a dragon skin bag and a large brown suitcase...

Phillipe, you'd better keep your eyes open, this could be trouble...

*The bigger badger in the basket looks up sleepily and flowes lithely to his master's side*

Some flutter in her heart stirs her from her slumber. As she sleepily looks around, Fidei sees a dark figure looming around the bar.......

*hits chest* Thrice-damned pace maker - can't take it anywhere without a-flutterings...

Excuse me, young penguin man? Yes, you looming darkly around the corner of the bar. I have a loaded badger here and I'm not afraid to use it. You touch any of those gummi bears, and I can't be responsible for Philipe's actions...

**A tired gumshoe walks up. Hearing the phrase olives, he wonders, 'How is this connected to that Ostrowski dame?' and 'are they Spanish olives?'**

Actually, they are Liargain olives. A new product from R & D. They are seedless, and extremely juicy...I am going to try to talk Fidei into selling them here in her shop...

Extremely juicy, huh? Sounds good... How about you give me this batch as a trial run. We'll see how they sell, and then we'll talk business...

Completely organic. Hydroponic. Somewhat dyslexic. No additives or preservatives. Just some genetic, ummmmm...manipulation involved.

And Fidei, you may certainly have this first batch with my compliments.... ;)
