Dear members of the south pacific,

there are a few things I have to say in a short rant, in order to have a peaceful night's rest, so please bear with me.

It's good that people are sceptical about law proposals and changes. It's good that people voice there opinions. That's why we have a forum called "For things that go bump in the night", where people can post their ideas and, depending on the reaction, can turn it into a law for the council or not. When I proposing anything there, I expect to get feed back. I want to get feedback, because I know I am not perfect and don't think of everything, and I am sure this counts for everyone who posts there. Once it has passed that stage, a law will put up for voting. Then it is too late for changes!

I am not there to take away any rights, and everyone has the right to propose amendments and ideas. Please participate! But in the right place and time.

(Unfortunately I have run out of time)

Thank tyou

It should never be too late to voice your opinion or ask questions. Voicing your opinion, before, during or after a law goes up for a vote should be everyone's right, reguardless if it is too late to change it.
I would hope you are here to help and listen to us WHENEVER we need you and not just when the time or place is right.

Sorry to have bothered you today

i agree with parrrrrty.

i think thought that its just easier if we bring it up in the first place instead of something passing and then having to pass something else to undo it...

Yeah, exactly. Unfortunately I had to catch the train, so I couldn't quiote finish this the way I wanted, because I wanted to say a few things more, I think. Something about lower participation levels, about that people seem to get scared to act, that many people seem to forget that they are all the legislative body of this government simulation.

Sure, that's what a governemnt is for. But as Tsunami said, it makes life easier if you do so as soon as possible.

The best way is to post first then be willing to work for TSP on any level. I started in the DSP as a private.

Try running for office in the next election.

Apart from the DSP (south pacific defence force), Foreign Affairs is usual looking for ambassadors. Then several department can use an undersecretary at the moment. There is a lot to do, so decide for yourself what appeals most to you, and then contact the secretary of the department of your choice.
