Well, that depends on safe from what. If you're just talking about superstitions, there's a whole shelf full of good luck charms on your right, just pick one in a shape you like. I heard your last vessel burned down, so some fire proof runes might be more useful. Or if you're worried about pirates and the like, some offensive spells couldn't hurt. Also, if it's a sailing ship, this brooch of wind control will probably come in handy. For an engine, some cooling charms will keep it from overheating. Finally, if you have something specific in mind, I can do a custom job, from items of any kind to imbuing the actual ship with magic. Of course, those are a little more expensive

Please understand, my schooner was burnt. It was NO accident. As for superstitions, they are not really a concern, but I am convinced that there are forces that we have no understanding of and those are what concern me. Cost is not a problem. I own the only key to Darryayah's Crown Jewels and a substantial quantity of Fudgetopian Chocolate. |

Hmmm...let me see what I can come up with. One moment please! <wanders into the back room> Let's see here....Pendant of Absolute Doom....no.....Hat of Hair Growth...that's not it.....Amulet of Natural Blonde...getting closer.... Aha! The Large Shiny Gem of Clear Skies! <returns, holding a crystal clear gem the size of a bowling ball> As long as this is somewhere on your ship, you will not run into storms of any kind. Unfortunately, it does nothing against any sort of attack, sabotage, giant sea creature, etc. Also, you need to make sure it's uncovered and outside, or it won't work. Let's see, if that's all, then that'll be 400 gold coins, or the equivilent in your currency. Also, feel free to take a complimentary small charm from that shelve over there. Thank you very much for your business

*Plops the 400 Gold Coins on the counter along with an ounce of Fudgtopian chocolate. Picks up the gem and the charm, nods to Xellos and walks out the door.* |

<scratches his head, confused> I wonder what that was all about? I had been feeding it regularly... I guess he didn't realize those strange memory-wiping things don't work on Mazoku. That's why spells are more reliable ![]() <sighs> He could've at least bought something...(although I should be careful not to sell him memory modifying spells in the future) |

<gives him a strange look, then shrugs and smiles again> Well, we do, but most edible substances in this store are ingredients for potions or will cause you to grow limbs, hair to change color, etc. Well, we do have some energy enhancing snack foods (magical effects, nothing like those phony energy drinks popular these days) which are relatively harmless ![]() |

(Yes, it should probably be in character ^_^) Ah, a new customer! Come in, come in, and welcome to the only shop in the South Pacific where you can find a way to prevent *and* cause sunburn! Magic can do just about anything, so if you have a problem (or simply want to curse that annoying neighbor) have a look around! If you don't see anything you like on the shelves, feel free to ask me. I can do 'custom jobs' when what's needed isn't available in the shop. So, feel free to have a look around. Maybe something will catch your eye ![]() Oh, and Vlodmekov, feel free to pick out any of those energy snacks that look good ![]() |

Ah, worry not, we have plenty of curses available. They're all along that wall over there <points> A few highlights are the Curse of Itching in that Unreachable Spot, the Curse of Lightning Rod, and everyone's favorite, the Curse of Random Falling Objects. Pretty much every curse imaginable, although I'd note that all curses are decidedly non-lethal, as per government standards ^_^;; Curses come in two forms: A spell that you can cast on a person, or an object that you can plant somewhere on them (or even disguise as a gift). So feel free to take a look. If you find one that meets your fancy, you get a discount as a first-time customer ![]() |

Coming back yet again, Scrivneri queries of Xellos-Sama "Do you happen to have anything that will attract customers to a ancient knowledge store? We have many texts and magic items and statues, but no one looking at them..it's quite lonely. Can you help?" |
