<appears out of nowhere> My apologies, it appears I forgot to lock my shop when I went on vacation. Terribly sorry about that....I'll help you out in a second. <closes eyes and concentrates for a minute> Alright, pa-4r-tay, I'm sending you a small jolt of power, you should be able to discern your location with it...although if I can hear your voice from hear, I imagine you have a few powers of your own. <glances at flying cake> Hmmm...don't quite have the kinks worked out of that yet. <waves his hand and it flies into the back room> <starts walking over to mavenu> Now, how may I- <nearly trips over KA> Ah, it appears I have two visitors! Umm...<snaps his fingers in front KA's face> Are you alright? |

<large sweatdrop> Well...you can use it however you want to! Personally, I like to trick couples I don't like with it, but what you do with it is up to you. If you're looking for something with a more...specific use, I might have something. |

Maybe...yes... I think I am. What do you have which I could place in the front of my shop that would be entertaining for my customers and also zap any flies which would happen to enter the shop. Mind you there are no flies yet, I would like to keep it this way. |

I think I may have something for you....<digs around in a drawer for a minute> Aha! Here, this lightning ball should suffice...it'll fry any bugs that get too close. As for the entertainment, well, you never know when it'll misfire and zap a pedestrian instead. Of course, the magic devices here rarely misfire ^_~ <suddenly hears parrrrtay's voice> Hmmm...it didn't? Well, drat, you must not be compatible with Makozu magic. Let me just grab this charm here.... <appears behind parrrrtay's captor, winks, slides the charm to her and disappears> <reappears back in shop> Well, that will hopefully work. Unless her captor is a robot or something. But that seems unlikely. |

80 gold (or whatever your local currency may be) will suffice. Hope you enjoy it! Feel free to bring it back here if you have any problems with it...Oh, and a word of advice: try not to jostle it too much, or it may zap *you*. In fact, you better take these as well <tosses him a pair of rubber gloves> Don't worry, they're on the house, so to speak. <sits back and opens a copy of parrrrtay's scandal> Hmm...Badger weddings.... |

K A takes 80 gold coins and places them on the counter. Reaches into his knapsack to produce a Magic Cake, "It's not really magic except the for the taste." Thank you. |

Greetings Xellos-Sama, I have come in search of a very rare tome of Magic. It is the lost Book of Incantations of the Dark Word. Do you happen to have it, or know where I might go to inquire after it? |

<returns a few minutes later slightly singed, but with a book in hand> I managed to get my hands on it for you... Phibrizzo wasn't very happy about it, though... One formerly lost Book of Incantations of the Dark World....let's see, that'll be around 800 gold or the equivalent of it in your currency. |

Wow, that was expedient, here are 1600 breves(national currency) which should be worth right around 800 Goldbars... Now that you have found this for me..I was curious about something a little more..special. Do you have the Tome of Ultimate Summonings? I have the prerequisite papers from the school of the Dark Arts here. *produces a thick sheaf of papers detailing the many forms of course work required to perform the summoning rituals in the text* Of course, I don't want you going to any trouble without appropriate compensation, so if you don't have it in stock..I can either offer you a boon, or simply set out to find it on my own. |

Hmmm....Tome of Ultimate Summoning, huh? I'm afraid where I come from summoning spells are rather uncommon, so I'm not sure where to find one. I could look into it, but it will take quite a bit longer to find than the other one. <grabs the bottled gremlin> Ah, excuse me for a moment...if I don't feed him soon he'll start to glow...I'm not really sure what happens after that, and I don't really care to find out, either ^_^;; |

Not a problem Xellos_Sama, I shall go and spend a few hours perusing this excellent tome you have already found. If you happen to come across the Tome of Ultimate Summonings, I'll toss in an extra 15,000 breves in addition to the fee you request. |

<walks in after a three day absence holding a tome, slightly smoldering (the person, not the tome)> Those red dragons can be so greedy...they never want to give anything up. Now, I wonder when Scrivneria's going to drop by again... |

Xellos-Sama you really must stop putting yourself at risk like this to recover things for me. I would gladly have fought the red dragons myself if I knew that the had the tome of Summonings! Here, take this 30,000 breves as an extra expression of gratitude...how much for the tome? |

Considering the 30,000 was double what you originally offered for it, that more than covers it. And don't worry, any excuse to beat up one of those pesky dragons. Always running around like they think they know what's best for everyone I needed the excercise anyway...just like any other skill, if you neglect your magical powers, it begins to atrophy. <blinks> Of course, you probably already know that ^_^;; Just be careful...I think the dragon guarding the thing was originally summoned using the book... |

Ahh, so it may come searching...of course! Well, I'll keep a close eye on the shop, and will do exhaustive research before actually attempting any of these spells. I believe this one may need to go in our "private collection." Many thanks again Xellos-Sama! *Scrivneri bows and returns to the Compendium of Ancient Knowledge.* |
