Ye Olde Magick Shoppe; When the ordinary just isn't enough

Well, from what I've heard, the owners before me mysteriously disappeared. No, I had nothing to do with it, I just got here. But we do have ways to make *your* problems disappear. Besides, I bet it was those pesky dragons.

You are welcome to browse around the store at your leisure. I know, it looks old and run down, but it adds to the mystery, don't you think? Anyway, we have a variety of small charms, spells, and curses on the shelves, and I am willing to give demonstrations if you want to know how something works.

More powerful artifacts (and anything involving fire, just to be safe) are available by request.

Disclaimer: Ye Olde Magick Shoppe is not responsible for any harm that may come to yourself or others as the result of one of our products.

And don't worry if it looks like no one's attending the shop. Just say my name, and I'll be right with you. ^_^

For our Grand Opening, we're offering a special: buy one curse, get the second half-off! So hurry on down!

*Kell the Praetor of The Holy Empire of Military Force strides into the small shop as two tactical marines take up position outside the door, watching the street. The Praetor is a quiet and battle hardened man, wearing his Marine Corps dress uniform (compare to USMC dress), service pistol in a holster on his belt, a sheathed saber in one hand, he walks up to the counter and addresses the man behind it*

I have a rather nice MFMC (Military Force Marine Corps) sabre, and I've always wanted a flame tongue, could you help me out there?

A flame tongue, hmm? Yes, I think I can whip something up for you. One second.

<walks into the back room, the sound of fire can be heard, followed by several explosions, before he walks back out>

There we are, one flame tongue. <is holding a sabre with a red blade, and a matching crimson sheath> Would you like anything engraved on it?

Ooh, busy busy busy. Let's see here... for the flame tongue, you just press this little button on the hilt here twice...but please wait until you're out of the store to try it. As for the money, 200 gold coins (or the equivilent of whatever currency you use) should be about right. AND, since you're my first customer, here's a free fire resistance charm ^_^

Unfortunately, Jacksong, erasing specific memories is rather difficult...but I *do* have this! <reaches behind the counter and pulls out a bottle> They call it the sorcerer's best friend...it's not permanent, but it will help for a little while.

<sets the bottle on the table> Ah, thank you. Well, I have a pair of talismans here that will let the people wearing them telepathically communicate. I also have a spell scroll that will let you read minds temporarily...will either of those suffice?

Hmm... <holds the weapon>unexpected, but not unpleasant! This will do nicely...Maybe I can modify it to shoot magic or something

Thank you, Semartica. That's actually rather convenient, as I carry some of those, being a magic shop and all ^_^ The liver of a stork actually makes a rather potent aphrodesiac, if I remember correctly...

Kein Aber

*Enters the shop and sees a customer, who resembles James Bond at the counter, not wishing to disturb an ongoing sale looks around the shop. Picks up a clear box, Inescapable Spider web from the Deep Hold , putting the box back. Continues to browse spying a seemingly empty rank displaying a sign Cloaks of Invisibility, thinking “bet those often get lost in the Dry Cleaners.” Stopping at a rack of wands, they vary in size and shape from crystal to bend willow, a few look like toothpicks. A sign warns, This rack of wands will bring fire and tears, but zap one once and it is yours. As the wandering proceed past Rings, charms, amulets and potions, noticing the customer has left, then approaches the counter*

*thinking* “It seems the shop keeper must be in back.”

*Spying what seem to be a clerk call bell, on the counter, presses the Button. A small swarm of Black Flies appears from nowhere and begin to encircle Kein Aber face.* “Ooops!”

*The Tsrillik chameleon, on KA’s shoulder, springs to action, using its long slender tongue snatches and devours every fly.*

*thinking* “I won’t have to worry about feeding it for awhile, I guess. I best not touch any more things.”

Do not follow me, for I am lost...

*walks in and spots Kein Aber and mavenu waiting around*

"Testing, testing 1-2-3 testing......You two been waiting long?"

*asks a voice from nowhere, KA and mavenu look around wide eyed and puzzled*

"OH, it works, you can hear me? This is great!!
I am sending a mental telegram to ask for some magical help, you see right now I am in the back of a hummer, being fed CHOCOLATE covered strawberries with the most handsome man in TSP, (no that part is NOT a problem) The problem that I have is that I am blindfolded and have no idea where we are heading......
I just can't handle the unknown, so I thought maybe someone here could mentally send me some sort of powers so I can read his mind just for a moment.
I just hate the unknowing!"
