Black Adder
Premier of the Pacific

As stipulated in the terms of the Non Aggression Treaty (hereafter referred to as SP/P/NAT) the Pacific hereby publicly notifies the South Pacific the proposed SP/P/NAT has been approved and ratified by the Government of the Pacific. This has been entered into force as of Nov 12. We are overwhelmed that this senseless conflict has finally drawn to a close. Thank you for your courage.

The Treaty.

Quote:

AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE GOVERNMENT OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC
AND
THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF THE PACIFIC
ON THE MAINTENANCE OF NON AGGRESSION AND PEACE

The Government of the South Pacific and the Government of the People's Republic of The Pacific, (hereinafter referred to as the two sides) recognizing each other as the legitimate Governments of their respective regions, have entered into the present agreement in accordance with the following five principles. Mutual respect for sovereignty, non-aggression, non-interference into each others internal affairs, equality, and peaceful coexistence. The two sides have agreed as follows:

ARTICLE I

Neither side shall use or threaten to use preemptive force against the other by any means either individually or jointly with other Powers, Groups or Regions.

ARTICLE II

Each side will keep its UN forces that are under government control outside of the Regional territory of the other side. If UN nations that are under the orders or acting on the behalf of the government of either side do enter the Regional territory of the other side, this must be announced in the appropriate forum within 24 hours.

ARTICLE III

In case of contingencies or other problems between the two sides, they shall deal with them through diplomatic meetings and friendly consultations between them. The form of such meetings and channels of communications between the respective government personnel shall be mutually agreed upon by the two sides.

ARTICLE IV

The Treaty is concluded for a period of six months when it shall become void unless both sides agree to advance the Treaty for another set period of time.

Article V

The present treaty shall be ratified within the shortest possible time. The ratifications shall be exchanged simultaneously on both Sides Fora. The Agreement shall enter into force as soon as it is signed and published.

Congratulations to both the Pacific and the South Pacific for this achievement.

It is gratifying to see this come to pass. It is a major piece of an old dream which saw all the Pacifics working in organized and productive concord and form the core around which all Nation States can become united and civilized.

kindest regards and salutations to all.

We were having some fun dealing with a situation.

Unlimited is the undisputed delegate of the Pacific. In the interests of stability the Vanguard of the Revolution is there until the Senate agrees otherwise. We view his office much the same as Berhampore's in the West Pacific. Given this is still very much a transisitional Government we tolerate no threats to the stability we have sacrificed so much for so long.

With the ever interesting nature of Game glitches making endorsements disappear it was decided Pierconium, Senator of Justice would amass a suitable number of Endorsements in the event Unlimited was ever affected we wouldn't be dealing with a nation called "Pacifuk suxx!!!!111111" or the like as delegate. Unfortunately the very reason he was chosen as Regent for his efficiency sparked this. He received far too many endorsements and was in danger of surpassing the vanguard. The code applies to us all. Since none of us had ridden the catapult for some time Pierconium cashed in some Air miles and went for a trip. Mammothistan and I accompanied him like friends do. All was sorted out and nothing nefarious.

I'm rather surprised it took you all this long to get around to asking about this. Its been settled everywhere else for some time. We just assumed you had no concerns.

To me, BA, the internal politics of the Pacific Region are exactly that, the internal politics of the Pacific region. We have a law on our books that is similar to the process you have set, our MArtial Law statute. I assumed such was the case in the PRP.

btw, on another note, glad to see you back

Salutations to our friends in the South Pacific!

It is both my honour and pleasure to serve as the People's Republic of The Pacific Ambassador to the South Pacific.

It is heartening to see the region doing well and become reacquainted with old friends.

Good health and wishes also for the South Pacific's still newlywed couple Sassy LadyRebels and The Shaft.

Oh My!

Well I'll not pretend to have greater skills in the art of propaganda than you Sir Paul!

Though....guess I should have waited a while on drinking that bottle of Bowmore Scotch I found in the lower desk drawer

Oh well. We all have our Faux Pas from time to time Don't we? :P

I don't think its entirely necessary dredging that up again.

Besides, I was famished and no one saw fit to send rations up the line that day...

No. We generally buy up slightly used nations for that sort of thing.
