Going rather well, I must say. I'm running for Patrician Rei Familaris and I've got an RP going about a kidnapped Senator. We're starting off doing a huge RP history of the Meritocracy, which is coming along nicely. Our Membership Act was written and passed. Praetor and Aedile elections are coming up, then more elections. Aescaplius has been a rather good Consul so far. We've had a number of departures due to RL issues, sadly. |

I was elected Patrician Rei Familiaris recently and will hold that position until I resign or someone successfully challenges me. Our Tribune election is in progress. With only one candidate, Warrior Thorin, the election is likely to be a foregone conclusion. |

Eli, citing RL pressures, has resigned as Quaestor. Consul elections will take place starting 22 August. Nuclear Industrial is the favourite. |

We are currently debating a new version of the Ambassadors Act. Nuclear Industrial has returned as Praetor after his resignation due to being called to serve in Louisiana. |

It's all go in the Merit, ATM. We have several Accord amendments (including a major alteration of the Cabinet to return it to the old Consul appoint, Senate ratify system) on the table, the Ambassador Act is soon to go to a vote, theThe Meritocratic Independent has a new issue and we almost sacked our Aedile. |

We recently had a very close Tribune election, where the incumbent lost and I came third. Glasguensis is our new Tribune. I'm currently running for Censor against Siempre and we're having Quaestor elections soon. |

Our Consular Elections are taking place. And there's a very interesting RP going on. Eureka's back and he's being his usual aggressive self... |

Ylling, First, let commend you for adding the Meritocratic News to our International News board. I think its important that we in this region have an idea what is going on elsewhere. Second, as you know, recent events within the West Pacific have sparked a good discussion here as well. I'd like to ask, how did the Meritocracy come about issueing its statement of support for Eli's action and what, exactly, is meant by the phrase 'Meritocratic Imperialism'. I am confused. Has this become the poilicy of the Meritocracy? |

I'll give you something on Meritocratic Imperialism once the future of the policy is decided. The Consular vote opens tomorrow. |
