Don't forget to pick up your ParrrrTay' SCANDAL magazine this weeks feature headlines.... MURDER ON BADGER BOULIVARD ![]() Could Tom Maguire of the famous MAGUIRE'S INVESTIGATIONS be tangled up in this murder? According to Detective O'Mally a Maguire Investigation card was found at the scene of this gastly crime. CORRECTION: The article should of read; Could Tom Maquire of the famous Private Investigations be tangled up in this murder? Detective O'Mally was mistaken when he told the reporter it was a Maquire Investigation card. Private Investigations is the name of the establishment in which Tom Maquire works. *mumbles to self....can't even count on a Detective for correct information these days* |

The balmy evening weighed heavily upon the market square. Word of the murder, and charges that I was involved in I ran through the strets like tumbleweeds in a ghost town, rolling every which way but to the truth. Add to that the Delegate being seen in my offices, well, it doesn't take a complete ignoramus to assume this is a political hit. I inspected the scene of the crime, the bushes where the small little yappie dog found the body. No blood there, none of the leaves of the shrubbery, nothing on the ground. Intriguing, but I always get intriguing cases. Well, no rest for the weary, as my Mother always said. I located an old informant, a Mr. Y_________, a drunk who lived not far from the Boulevard. What do you got for me? Eyes all clouded with drink, he mumbled, Saw 'tall, but the cops don' ask an old, hic, man like me. Not like, hic, youd does, Tom. What did you see? His bloodshot eyes locked to mine an istant before he replied Don' like it Tom, not 'tall. Lots o'men in black hangin' round here. You gots to be careful, Tom. It's tough getting pertinant information from a drunk. Strill, promise of more hooch got me more than enough to make this worth my while |

*front page of the new edition of ParrrrTay' SCANDAL* BLOODHOUND SEEN in CRIME AREA! ![]() Could this Bloodhound be employed by Private Investigations? Could this be Tom Maquires idea towards taking the bite out of crime? If so, there was no blood found at the scene, so why the bloodhound? |

Fudgie's 'Fronk'...

Hidden in amongst the discarded cardboard boxes, the BIA Agent could clearly overhear the partly slurred and stuttering conversation...Everything was transmitted to the main operating team of Agents a street away and recorded for detailed analysis... Tom and his informant parted company and as Mr. Y stumbled deeper into the darkened alley Tom made his way to the street, mounted and kick-started his Jawa and pulled out into traffic... ![]() Back in the alley, just as the Agent was about to break cover the air became disturbed...The Agent took no chances and remained safely hidden away...Suddenly a loud crack and what could only be described as an electrical disturbance disrupted the void left by Mr Y... Mr Y. turned and shielded his eyes from the brightening light. The 'Man in Black' stood and watched as Mr Y. began to cower... The Agent knew they had to act quickly...Pressing the Agent In Distress (AID) button on the Badger Communication device saw to it that the 'Man in Black' would do no harm to Mr Y...Swiftly the crack interception team had distracted the 'Man in Black' and The Agent had got Mr Y to safety... An interesting development, needless to say not unexpected but the timing rather sooner than anticipated...Mr Y upon being checked into the Setts Hotel was safe and the trail of Tom and Dave was protected...Well safe for the time being anyway... |
