I just finished reading 'The DaVinci Code', and loved it so much I'm reading it again straight away .. I feel like there's so much I missed the first time.

I still have to say what a fabulous book! Anyone else read it? Any opinions?

:P It's been sitting on my table for about a month, but I've not gotten around to reading it. My English teacher hasn't been giving it much praise, but on the other hand she likes Dean Koontz, who I can't stand. :D Maybe I'll read it once I'm done shuffling around my other four books.

Read it. Am not into conspiracy theories. Had heard of most of the 'Missing Gospels' in religion class in high school. Didn't like it

Read it. Loved it. I don't take the ideas seriously, but they made a great plot. You should read Angels and Demons just to at least say you read it. Not quite as good IMNSHO, but if you thirst for more of the characters, then that's the one.

I read it, I liked it, even if I didn't agree with a lot of it, it was still a great read.

I'm of the same opinion as you CR when it comes to missing gospel conspiracies and the like - my dad was very big on them, as was my Youth group bible studies, so I've had enough to last me a lifetime.

What I enjoyed about the book was the riddles and the puzzle solving. That was brilliant ... I basically brushed aside the religious stuff, and got into it. That's what I love about it.

Although I'm dying to look at 'The Last Supper' to see if that's true lol ...

Ick. I hate Stephen King, too...

Here's my list of top 5 authors I hate because they're popular and (IMVHO) suck.

1. Anne Rice
2. Freud (He makes a really bad psychologist, too!)
3. Dean Koontz
4. Stephen King
5. Tony Hillerman (It is Tony, isn't it?)

Yes!

Read it, thought it was pretty good. Currently working my way through The Bourne Supremacy by Robert Ludlum. I get fidgety if I don't have a book to read.

I just finished Wizard and Glass, the fourth in the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I like his work, but the Dark Tower is my favorite of all of his works. I've started on book five, The Wolves of Calla and my wife just brought me the sixth book in the series. It's good to have library connections..... :D

Grr baby, grr.

My sister read the DaVinci Code and loved it! I just finished Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk, BUT I highly recommend Dry by Augusten Burroughs. Right now I'm reading Stiff by Mary Roach. I'm only on page 74, but so far it is definately interesting. ^_^

my wife read the davinci code and really liked it. I may wind up reading it at some point.

Saw Passion of the Christ because the kids from our youth group kept bringing it up and I felt I needed to know what they were talking about.

I'm a bit of a geek I'm afraid ... If I'm not reading a novel along the lines of the Davinci code ( Also big on John Grisham), I'll be reading either Arthurian or Viking fantasy books. or a biography/autobiography.

Although ...

I do like Harry Potter, and I love Olivia Goldsmith's books. Also Virginia Andrews, Jean M. Auel and Jean Plaidy.

Still prefer rmy geeky books though ;)

You'll have to tell me what 'The Devil wears Prada' is like though. I've heard good things about that book.

*hugs Tsu*
