*Pokes Jammer*
Not that I don't like the company, but I might have to think about charging rent if you stay there much longer!
Why not set up a hammock stall, then you could sleep in them all day (the only theif around here is barry, and he's the first to appreciate a good kip, so that wouldn't be a problem).

Right, my Herb Garden has just grown into a full-blown forest, so I reckon I'm about ready to pick and packet....
Looking for anything special?

I'll be experimenting in my kitchen for a couple of days so if you hear any... noises...don't panic.

*hands TOOL another milkshake with a shot of rum and a freshly baked brownie*

So what do you think? Shall we talk business?

Excellent, Jammer makes for good company, a Georgia O'Keefe fan, me thinks.

Sufflage, sounds good.

*a stranger walks up*

Hello FideiDefensor,

Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Davis Renko, trusted Head Servant to King TOOL a HOOlagin.
He has demanded I propose the importation of your fine Ginger Beer. He expects it to be very popular in our home.

Usage:

We expect a consumption of 15L/a per person who drinks beer.
Its fair to assume your beverage will be 1/5th that consumption.

Thats 15/5 = 3L/a per person, based off of 250M people thats 750M Liters

750M Liters = 3.65M barrels/a

Please outline our demands, and compensations.

Hi Mr Renko,

Right, so if if we round that up, it's 4 million barrels per...?
The extra will account for extra demand and a growing populace of course.
[curses, maths]

Well, it's half a silver piece per half-litre, so 1 per litre. Thus, it is 205.5 (being the number of litres in each barrel) pieces per barrel, multi-buy rounds it down to 200, so it's 800M silver pieces.

[um, I'm probably wrong, please correct at will]

Oooh, I feel queasy... :(

*Hands Jammer her Rose in Bloom, TOOL his sufflaqe, and goes for a lie-down in a hammock*

Thank you, I will let the maker know you admired her work. They are handmade item from the velvet craft guild of my homeland. All natural fibers. We don't wear clothes in Jamberry, but when I'm out and about, especially on business, I think it makes negotiations run more effectively if I at least wear SOMETHING. :D

Oh, so, speaking of business...a stray key, shall we say, found its way into my possession. I believe you will recognize the origin.

***hands Fidei a tiny gold filigree key with a GR design on the shaft***

I must go now, but if you are interested in offering cloaks in your market, let me know. I'll be back later.

**Starts to walk off, but thinks better of it**

What the heck I'll gift this one to you.

**Carefully drapes the cloak about Fidei's shoulders and gives her a kiss on the cheek***

...200, so it's 800M silver pieces.

800 eh? Given the volumes we are discussing, perhaps a 20% discount would be apropriate. We offer 640M, paid quarterly equivalents. To help supliment your expenses perhaps it may be possible to allow you a remote brewery in our nation. However, this is not my call to make. *looks over at the overy relaxed man in hammock*

*humbly bows*

Walks in, craving a milkshake. Hey Fidei...hey Jambabe......beautiful cloak Fidei...wherever did you get it.....and is it for sale?

Stops by to give Barry a double-decker cheeseburger with chili and slaw and a large order of french fried taters, and discreetly slips a bottle of MD 20/20 into his coat pocket, then turns to give Phillipe a pat on the head and a bag of string cheese and a box of andes mints.....

Glad you are back Fidei...things have not been the same around here without you!

Jammer....come and sit with me for a while....falls back into a large Pawley's Island Rope Hammock for two and waits........

Mr Renko, I'll offer 700, and it would save a lot of time if we could get a Fermentomatic plant set up.
Also, I want guarantees that my recipe will not be falsified, copied or stolen under any circumstances. It is a sacred and ancient recipe, so protection of some sort will be required.
Also, would I have scope for further expansion? For instance, into the Milkshake side of beverages, and perhaps into nibbling-food? Obviously, I would not expect this straight away, but I would like an expectation of what the future may hold.

Mr Renko, I'll offer 700, and it would save a lot of time if we could get a Fermentomatic plant set up.

700 is acceptable, but is the Plant a condition or request. None the less, I should notify our Lead Developer, to solidify talks with you.

As far as secrecy promises go, your ingredients and production methods, will not be publically disclosed, but will be up to your securities responsiblties' to ensure.

Expansion, expansion, expansion, you can't stop expansion. I will look into our supply and demand situation, but again unless conditions are agreed upon, my present word means nothing.

The plant is simply a request, but one for which I would be grateful, as it would benifit us both, although it would mean that security is more of a problem. But as you say, it is MY problem. However, may I enquire into your secrecy or copyright laws, if you posses any? I feel these measures would act as a detterent if properly enforced, and would benifit other companies, not just myself.

Once these queries are answered, I will be happy to push ahead with the deal.

Gratefully,
Fidei

Christie, these hammocks fit the two of us just right. Hopefully if I keep on buying drinks for everyone, Fidei won't kick us out. :P

Snuggle right on in here. I'm feeling the need to relax and dream.
