Ya, I don't think I've ever seen Halmont annoyed. OBTW, does he know about that . . . note . . . under your, um, avatar . . . about Loop? Ah. None of my business. Very undiplomatic. ------------------------------------------------------- So where do we stand on this treaty? AFAIK, it has been approved by every member of our Cabinet, with no objections at all. What needs to happen next? |

The voting on the treaty will finish up tomorrow when I get on. It is winning approval at a rate of 10-1. As soon as we have the final total I will inform every one if it has passed. Then we exchange ambassadors. I am currently looking for an Ambassador for your region. In the mean time I will come over if you want me too. |

The West Pacific Foreign Ministry is delighted to host a Gala Treaty Celebration to celebrate the South Pacific's ratification of the treaty that makes us Allies officially, which we of course have been unofficially for decades (in NS time). Citizens of the South and West Pacifics, as well as all other dignitaries and guests from other regions, are invited to The Grand Ballroom. |

The Isolationist State of Mars University - I Stand Alone

Um, I'm worried about the West Pacific. Norion was supposed to have stepped down from government by now and hasn't. He has gone on record as saying that this was his last term in office and that he wasn't running for re-election. Yet he was observed gathering endorsements as late as last night, and as of now, he is still in power! Is it possible for a region to be taken over by the Delegate?

God knows. The whole region is a mess. Norion is NOT running for office, yet refuses to get unendorsements, which would allow MVS, Berhampore or me(ha!) to overtake a win. The reason for this is that he is trying to manipulate the system so that he will lose the Delegate position, but be able to be Vice-Delegate. Everything's going to hell.....Even my own board (link in sig) is dying out. Urgahbah has already left the West Pacific for pastures new, ZetaOne is thinking hard about leaving, We were thinking of forming a breakaway region, but that seems to have fallen flat on it's face.....DAMMIT!!!!!!......Sorry, just got a little TOO frustrated then! |

Update: ZetaOne has now resigned as Minister of Intelligence and left the region to join the break-away region of Team Advantage. |

And just when all seemed to have returned to some semblance of normality, Norion has once again begun deleting signatures and editing posts which he dislikes. For someone who technically shouldn't be in power any more (his Delegacy effectively ended on Monday, yet no-one had the endorsements to succeed him), He sure seems to be pushing his luck. |

Now Norin has banned me from the Official Forum for daring to run an unofficial froum where people post without fear of unwarranted deletions, editings and bannings. |
