Dilber, as I said to Big G, I hope you are not leaving the NS world and that whichever region you settle in values your input. |

Thank you for keeping us posted on this. Whereas I personally do not like seeing people fall unless they must, still this whole episode seemed odd from my point of view. |

Big-G, it's understandable that this is late. The West Pacific has had its fair share of turmoil of late and we knew you'd fill us in when the dust cleared. |

*Lanier comes to this forum this time as a journalist, not as part of the Foreign Ministry. See the big PRESS sign on my fedora?* The South Pacific has historically been one of the closest, if not THE closest, allies that The West Pacific has had. At one point, the Intel services of the two regions came together as a single force. Our readers would like to know: What is the current diplomatic status between the two regions? |

TAO here. Stepping in for a moment to check the light bulbs. Everything looks bright. Floors could use a coat of wax or two, though. Maybe next time. |

*Big-G of Neandertron collapses through the door wearing a suit of armour sorry for the lack of activity. There were.... happenings beyond my control... ANYWHO! Current Debate in Council has centered around the deletion of The Invaders forums by agents of the RLAI. Questions have been tabled by councillors and will be delivered to the RLA before a vote on ending the Blacksheep alliance continues. Ooomph has been elected Council Speaker and Freedom and Pride has been appointed as the New Speaker of the General Assembly. Enegro Montoya has resigned from the positon of Intelligence Director and I believe left the region, because of differences he felt he had with the government and the region as a whole. Happenings in the Court today have been a shock to many. Attorney General Berhampore has filed charges against several members of the WPD "core". Odd as it may seem I suggest reading the PNN article which gives a very good overview of the events if you want to know more. |

We do miss them. TWP is attempting to revamp its internal structure afer the loss of so many key members. TAO is now Prime Minister. This is a difficult time for the region but change is inevitable in this game. Everyone is welcome to stop by for the latest news ... we may be a little too busy these next few weeks to pop in with any regularity. |

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and 1st day of Hannukah. TWP is in the beginning stages of a Constitutional rewrite. The holiday break has slowed progress (which was expected). |

My time in NS before this time has always been filled with fun and friends. Right now, the feeling is no longer the same. I just spent the time reading in the old forum posts from Oct - Dec of 05' and saw the breakdown happening. People that are now at each others throats once laughed and teased each other as I remember it being from before. The very ones complaining on both sides, once agreed with each other. Now it is a war zone. What you have here is a failure to communicate. I have decided to no longer be a part of the Council of Nations of the new government, it isn't like it's any honor or job of responsibility, anyone can join and then proceed to discuss the next set of definitions. There's nothing but animosity and back stabbing. I personally don't find that fun. ~CandelLife http://s8.invisionfree.com/The_West_Pacific |
