Indeed. We tied. Since I was getting my butt kicked up 'til I trapped her that means we're all set to lose to five-year-olds. We still need to figure out checkers...Chinese Checkers, that is.

I know the answer to that question, Aurellis! *Stares at the "Why do hot dogs..."* It's because hot dogs are more expensive, so you've only got to buy eight packages, while buns are cheaper so you can afford ten packages. So then it evens out and you've got eighty of both with less money spent!

It's part of the great cycle of nerd-bashing: Historical wargamers mock fantasy and scifi wargamers who mock online gamers who mock roleplayers who mock card players etc. etc. etc. And, well, with Furries, well, I just don't go there. Vince returns to his office, drawing up schemes for a LARP night |

I've got a friend; he's an alright guy, but you get him in a game and he turns into the uber-munchkin. He always plays combat characters, and doesn't add anything to them. If you can out-dork him I'll give you Kudos. And Yulia, that quote is from the movie Bulletproof Monk, a really good movie. I recommend you see it. He answers it better than I can.

Vince sits in the office, writing down his plans. Okay, Dorks dressing up as their favorite Vampire, Were-wolf, Faerie, and Mage characters. Sure, they've got those international rules, but as an intro, it could be good just to have a night of fun with it and blow those rules. Heck, rock, paper, scissors is the best way to go anyway. He puts his pen to his mouth and chews Costumes . . . yeah, costumes. At intro each person pos their pic for the night. Tha'll work. No need to change avies for it. I just wonder if anyone's interested. The delivery bell rings Ah, cool, the new shipment from GW is here. More info on the Summer of Chaos and the Witchhunters Codex is in. Flips through catalogue and stops, eyes widening at the picture Shoot! an all-Slayer army! Axe throwers! My God, I gotta get me some of those! |

Well, I found out why AEG nixed Shadowforce Archer; not enough sales. Seems like no one wanted a supernatural/spy campaign. I thought it was alright, but I've never been one for the really odd. Good news is they are releasing all the remaining books in PDF format. They're coming out with an X-Files like campaign later this year I think. Kinda like the Dark Matter for Alternity. |

Good. . . .I'm still a little ticked that Full Thrust can't be purchased in the U.S. Oh, well, I guess I'll stick with Fairy Meat for a while now |

Full Thrust is a sci-fi Space battle miniatures game put out by Ground Zero Games. It was quick, fast, and hard-hitting. We played the variant which allowed you to recrete scenarios from David Weber's Honor Harrington series. It was impressive, but can't be gotten on this side of the pond. Now, Fairy Meat by Kenzer and Company is just hilarious. The miniatures are 23 mm and are on a 1:1 scale. Basically, you take your fairy warband and try to kill your opponent's fairy and eat them. Yep, cannibal fairies. Always good for a laugh |
