Setting the last of the boxes down, Vince, looks abut the store. Okay, I got my GW Stuff over there; my Battletech and other clickies over there. Gladiator wars and Vampire wars are fully stocked. RpGs are looking good, but AD&D 3.5 is shameful. Ah, at least six copies ofKiller Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot are in. Rules for DBM are set and what's in this box? Yes, Fairy Meat! Vince sprays the air freshener and flips the sign from CLOSED to OPEN. Let's get this store going |

Munchkin, did you say Munchkin? Vince vaults over the counter and walks over to the SJ Games section. Sure, we've got Munchkin, Unnatural Axe, Clerical Errors, Star Munchkin, and Munchkin Fu. I love adding all the cards together for a really big game. Steve Jackson Rocks! |

Is that put out by Sierra On-line and Troika Games? I ahve to confess, I've not played many RPGs lately . . .. and Shaft, we don't have a space for that game. Try the Dew-Drop Inn to play that one

The original, yes. I always loved being the Gnomes of Zurich or the Discordians. I never really got into the 90's card games version of Illuminati |

What I love is getting a lot of people who haven't played before. Tell them that evil play rules are on. Watch them be confused. And then give them a big batch of Ex-Lax brownie surprise! When they get back to the table, I'm slightly better off. :eyes: |

::Wonders in looking around:: Hey, don't mind me, just checking out what kind of 'Nyds you've got. It's about time the SP got a store like this. One upsetting thing; AEG just cancelled Shadowforce Archer without finishing the storyline, or so I'm told. I was really waiting for The Company book to come out .

Tyrnaids? We got 'em right over there, on the miniatures racks. . . can't wat to see some of the new models coming down the pike in '05. I hate when a title is cancelled without finishing the story line. It's entriely disrespectful to the fans. |

My opinion is that they're spending all the cash on the SG-1 books. The core book is about 500 pages, but I talked to the president of the RPGA guild I'm in, and he said the AEG guys originally wanted to make it 800. The suppliments I've seen are all very good quality; neo-hardback with glossy pages. They've put out two additions to it so far, and I think they're both about 200 pages long, max (rough estimate). What have they got coming in '05? I might have to start paying my friend off faster...:D |

Actually, for what it's worth htz and CR, when I think about it, probably the most unusual board game that I know is chess. Odd to me as it seems, I wanted to learn it when I was little after I watched a movie called The Wind and the Lion. Looking back I have to say that the benifits of sitting still and focusing on one objective did wonders for my concentration. Not that I ever became very good at chess, but for me, ultimately, that wasn't the point. |

And yet, dear Hazel, your attention span is still equivalent to a rodents'. :eyes: Did I just say that? More importantly, when did I get in here? *Looks around, shrugs and continues to look for nothing in particular* You know, I would like to challenge you to a game of chess one of these days. |
