Caer Rialistan and Fudgistan sound excellent :D. It can be indeed strange to see a place that is totally different from yours. When I visited Scotland, I was at a place where I could look to the horizon and see no human building or other human artifact at all. It was a strangely empty for some one from a coutnry where there is a farm or other building every few hundred meters when you're not in a city.

Lakes, river, and flat land. Welcome to Illinois, the Prairie State. Now, Fudgie and Tsrill, if you include mountain ranges of Australia, I can locate the GReat Dividing Range, Macdonnell ranges, the Musgrove Range, but are you including the plateaus in the north? |

Hate ta say it but I like it...Well, I could do without the intimidating locals, but they seem to be everywhere. Indianapolis is pretty cool, too... God, I love travelling. Count: 0/48...still. |

They seperated during the Civil war because one side was pro-slavery and the other was anti, didn't they? I seem to recall them (Virginia) being on the border between Confederates and Unions... Hell, wasn't Richmond the Confederate capital?

*claps for Yulia* yes and its actually kinda ironic because the government of west virginia didnt approve of the confederacy but the inhabitants did in fact its still very much pro southern here |

That impressed even me. I seem to recall someone pointing out that Virginia (both) is rather proud of being Southern, even today. The government of that time, for any state, didn't approve of much of anything. The only thing about that time period I can't figure out is the term "Civil war"... |

Excuse me, but would you mind standing over there while my men take pot shots at you with their muskets? Oh, thank you so much! It's so very kind of you. |

You know, they had invented the gatling gun and real rifles by then. Some damn nice handguns, too...Though, I admit, all of the above were remarkably heavy. The cavalry swords were niiice... Anyway, the point is that musket would apply to Revolutionary War times, and "Pardon while I slaughter hundreds of innocents with my machine gun." would be more fitting for the Civil War.

Love ta have ya... Well... I can't really say it's beautiful anymore, dry spell and all. I freaked out going through Illinois, it was a serious "Holy crap! Look! Lakes! Rivers! OHMYGOD THE WORLD IS GONNA END! THERE'S WATER!"... Then it occured to me that I was out of the desert. :eyes:
