48/48 at fourth try, not bad for a European, huh? (27/34/42/48) There should be one for European countries there, too. Or German states (Germany is easy, they don't have any protectorates left) -Tsrill. |

That's good, but only if the microstates are included (Andorra, San Marino, etc.) Ever try the countries of the former Soviet Union? My students had fits. "MR. Teacher, there are a lot of -stans there." |

I kept running out of time, but I got 48/48 on the third attempt - not bad for a European, I feel. Especially since on the first attempt I didn't realise it told you when you'd got it wrong, so I was ultra careful and only got about 18. I was also puzzled by the UP Michigan thing. I agree the former USSR could do with some more -ollys to balance it up.

I had to do a similar test with counties from the U.S. states. Shoot, some people had states like Arizona (handful of counties) or South Carolina (36 counties). I got Illinois, 102 counties. Bear of a test that was

Nope .. . though the count seat of Logan County (just north of Springfield) is named after Lincoln. Oddly, it was named after him before he was even in the running for president. Ah, does Caer Rialistan work, Tsrillistan? |

Hey we can chuck in some deserts, rivers and mountains. Add islands of the coast. Maquarie , Christmas ,Nolfolk and Tassie. Put in the 2 territories and the capitals and there is a slightly hard test. |

New Mexico is real easy to place. It's always that weird one left-over after you finish the other 47 states. Bisty, feel free to visit! Love ta have ya... Well... I can't really say it's beautiful anymore, dry spell and all. I freaked out going through Illinois, it was a serious "Holy crap! Look! Lakes! Rivers! OHMYGOD THE WORLD IS GONNA END! THERE'S WATER!"... Then it occured to me that I was out of the desert. :eyes: Mmm, Albert's Turkey(I still have trouble spelling the real name sometimes...) is getting bigger. Our pop. is at like...600,000. It's also the largest city, isn't that sad? Oh, right. I've so far got 0/48, simply because this computer hasn't got a mouse.
