Dude, Where did we park?

"digital" is about as divese a category as "traditional" art. You've got vector art, pixel art, photo manipulation, flash, digi. paint/airbrushing, etc. etc. so yeah I'd call yours digital.

This is really cool, especially the trace option.

Lol, my sister had that program before we reformatted. I recall I couldn't trace anything very well because I'm really not right handed.

Hehe, I know the feeling. My digital camera has been halfway dead for awhile now, too. Although I should be posting many many pages from my sketchbook when I get my scanner set up.

"Old School Values", acrylic on stretched canvas. I painted this for a gallery in Minneapolis that's doing a themed show called Level_13, about the video game generation. I still haven't gotten word yet on whether or not my piece was accepted for the show.

Cool, Slacker! I didn't realize that anyone had posted here in a while.

If you get accepted in MN, you'll have to let some of us know. Might be able to go see it in person. :D

(note to the Liberal - you cut your hair - wow! still looks great <g>)

Lib, DA doesn't like direct linking to any website, even if it's your own stuff. (edit: looks like you noticed. :D)

Speaking of DA, my account's still floating around (poor neglected thing, only 8 pictures) and this is it. I highly advise not looking at it (mostly because of the stuff in my favorites, actually) unless you're over...oh, 14? Not that too many people here are younger.

Well, at least I wasn't getting ignored! And believe me, if my painting gets accepted in MN, I'll be screaming it from the rooftops. :D

Ah, it's been too long since I've been here...

And I come here with purpose. I have a couple questions, one being a request, the other...well, it's just a question:

I know a lot of people have sites for their artwork. I'd love to go to everyone's sites and check them regularly, but it's a pain to sift through all the posts to find the URL links. So, is there a way to list everyone's name and URLs? Like, we all PM Liberal or we post it here, then someone gathers it together and sticks it somewhere where we can all see? I don't know, I'm not an administrator, but is that possible?

Also, I'm writing a book...seriously, a book. It's over a hundred pages now, and I want to send it in to be published, so here's the thing: Since it is so long, will anyone here read it? I'm going to send it to a website, and you can print it off or whatever you like, you don't have to read it off your computer, but yeah... If anyone decides to read even the first ten pages, feedback would be really, <i>really</i> helpful. AntiD's read the first fifty, and he really likes it, so yeah...lemme know!

Hey Zep, can you sent that to me as a word document? I've edited novels before, well over 900 pages, so 100 pages is a walk in the park at this point.

Also, don't even try with my webpage. There's nothing on it right now.

Gotcha, no visiting Slack's page

And sure, I can send it! Your e-mail is the same as the one you listed for MSN messenger, right? Just remember, it's still a rough draft, and I'm still writing it. But if you've edited before, you know the drill :D

Oh no, you're allowed to visit! Just don't expect to find any content beyond stuff for Livejournal.

Update on the gallery show: I've just been informed that they finally set a dat for the show, Sept. 17th. I'll be hearing about whether or not I got in either the last week of August or the first week of September.
