But do they do more good than harm is the question? Certainly they are ood for the economy, but what about Multinationals. Are they truly good for an ecomomy when they shut down plants in one part of the world and open new plants to take advantage of cheaper labor? This serves to gut the economy in the home country and, well, how much does it help the developing country.

There was a time when the chairman of GM could truthfully say, "What's good for the country is good for GM; What's good for GM is good for the country." Sadly, that cannot be said today.

I do not fear Big Government. It is Big Corporations, with little responsibility to the people, that I fear.
