Returns home from the inquisition with her new friend Stefan. Stops by the chapel and checks the offices and finds everything in order. On a whim, she decides to put Stefan to work and places him on top of the podium that holds the guest register during family viewings. It only takes a few moments and a couple of jam treats before Stefan has mastered the art of sitting perfectly still on top of the podium holding the ornate quill pen our for the next visitor. Hmmm, this should go over quite nicely..... Hugs Stefan and goes upstairs to her apartment, where she finds, mysteriously, that there is a small, badger sized, 4 poster bed with beautiful canopy and hand-made badger-quilt. It is sitting under the bedoom window, right beside Christie's bed, exactly where she would have placed it herself. Tucks Stefan in for his first night in his new home, and walks to the hot tub, shedding clothing as she walks. Upon reaching and sitting down in the warm, frothy bubbles, she notices a platter with a pitcher of icy margueritas and a tall glass, so of course, she pours a drink and relaxes, thinking about the events of the past couple days....... |

Fidei runs outside to check that Phillipe is safe. Thankfully, he is. After handing him some gummis and stroking his long fur, she goes back inside. "Mr Grimm, this is getting dangerous. That is the second incident to happen in or around the shop; first the intruder the other night who left the map, then the attack on Vientu. We need to take action fast before anything more...serious happens. "If Jammer is correct about this person setting us up, we can safely assume that they hoped we had opened the crypt today. They have proved they are desperate, at the very least, to get into this crypt. I think we should be too, at least to prevent anymore attacks." Fidei sighs, and sits in a nearby chair. The chair however, objects, and pushes her out. She decides it'll be easier to stand... "great, now I'm submitting to furniture..." |

* While Fidei is out at the stables, Josiah Grimm asks Vientu to sit while he examines her head. She feels a warmth on her scalp, and it no longer seems to feel tender under his touch. He turns as Fidei returns and listens to her somewhat anxious suggestion * * Josiah Grimm sits down in the chair recently vacated by Fidei, and it seems to settle contentedly. He gestures to another similar chair nearby * Please sit, Fidei - and don't worry, that one likes you. You're right, we need to act before anything more serious happens. I suppose the first thing we need to do is to figure out the password to the crypt. But we also need to be careful - what if the pressure we're under is to make us open the crpyt? Until we get this sorted I don't want anyone going off on their own - stay in the premises as much as possible, and when you do go out travel in pairs. |

* In Isaac De'Ath's office, the distinguished-seeming gentleman pushes a leather-bound album across his desk * If you'd like to pick out the design of casket or headstone, you'll find some designs in there, or we could select for you if you'd prefer. Do you have someone in mind to conduct the ceremony? Are there any religious requirements? |

Feeling awkward as both Fidei and Mr Grimm sit adn discuss the events, Vientu edges towards the door. Then, as an afterthought steps back towards the other two, then takes a step towards the door before finally stopping, standing still and looking very bemused. "I'm not much use around here, helping you guys work this out, due to not really knowing much about evil guys and crypts but I also don't enjoy being hit on the head.So is there anything i can be doing that's vaguely useful?" |

* Josiah Grimm turns to Vientu * Please sit, Vientu. This is strange for all of us - Fidei has found this map, and we have located a mysterious crypt, but we don't know what the password is. You are as likely to stumble across a clue as anyone else, so please stay and at least listen to our discussion, so you're aware of what's going on. |

Thank you Mr Grimm, so is someone wants us to open this crypt but we don't know what's in it or why they want us to open it, we also don't know who they are and what they want, so maybe we should keep watch stealthily and try in the vain attempt to spot them and then work out who they are or catch them or something? *blushes and looks at the floor* |

We should certainly not be rushing to open the crypt until we have a better idea of what's in it, but I think we need to be just a little more proactive in researching that. What do you think, Fidei? |

Where could we begin to look? The library would be a good place to start of course. But I have a feeling this building will not give up it's knowledge unless it wants to. Jammer mentioned information in her office in the DZ, but Vientu and I cannot access it, because of our young innocence, I suppose if it were anything of importance Jammer would have relayed it to us... Ug, I'll make some tea. |

After a relaxing soak in her hot tub, along with a pitcher of margueritas, Christie has climbed into bed and fallen into a deep, trancelike sleep. Suddenly, she stirs, sitting upright in the dark, quiet room, swings her legs over the side of the bed and stands. She walks, as though in a trance, through her apartment and out the door into the corridor of GR and A. Totally unaware of her own actions, she proceeds down the hall and downstairs to the chapel, and down another flight of stairs into the prep room. Although she has no knowledge of the trap door, she walks directly to it and opens it, entering the stairway below, and closing the door behind her. She decends the stairs into the corridor, and approaches the door that, unknown to her, has become such a mystery for Fidei, Jammer and Mr. Grimm. Although her eyes remain closed in sleep, she begins to run her hands over the door of the crypt, caressing the cool stone like a lover. Finally, she lies down in the corridor, pressing her face against the bottom of the door, and ceases to move, returning to the appearance of sleep....... |

Vientu goes to the kitchen to make the tea, on her way back carrying a tray of tea and biscuits she hears footsteps she drops the tray and begins to panic then she runs to the chapel and see the prep room and sees the open trap door with the light on below. Too scared to go down herself she runs back to the off to find Mr Grimm and Fidei, she enters and attempts to tell them everything but discovers she is unable to speak. |

Seeing the look on Vientu's face, Fidei follows her to the trapdoor, and proceeds down into the corridor. She wakes the sleeping Christie... "Hon, I think you've been sleep-walking... Can you tell me how you got to this place?" |

I have no idea......I took a soak in the hottub, drank a few drinks, then went to bed. The next thing I know, you are shaking me awake....I don't even know where I am....... I feel terrible, can you help me back to my room, please? Tries to stand, but must support herself on fidei's shoulder to keep from slumping back to the floor. Fights the urge to once again place her hands on the mysterious door, and as they head for the stairs, she cannot keep her eyes off of the inscription on the front of it.... |

Fidei Half carries Christie to her room. Fixing her a Misleading Pixie, she ponders over the events of the night. "Did that inscription mean anything to you, was it at all familiar?" she asks, as Christie drinks. "I'm wondering... Do we think this intruder could be powerful enough to make Christie go to the door. Or... well, could it be the building itself, trying to help us; maybe it's choosing Christie to open the door. But... would that be helping us...or it?" Strokes Stefan absentmindedly. "I don't know. Mr Grimm? Has this building ever held...grudges or desires or... ? |

I remember that before you woke me, I felt very warm and very safe, and yes, I guess I do feel like the door and inscription were familiar. Touching the door reminds me of.....well I can't explain it. When I came to work here, Mr. Grimm shook my hand. That is the only time I ever touched him, but while I was in contact with him, I felt as though a sea of information, old lost memories, were rushing back to me. When we broke the handshake, those feelings went away. Touching the door was much like that, although I was sleeping, or in a trance, I do recall comforting memories and feelings, but I cannot remember them now.... |

Hmm, very strange. Perhaps, when you feel a little better, we could return to the door. Maybe being near it could let some of the memories flow again... |

The building doesn't hold grudges or desires - it merely reacts to the inhabitants. Clearly there is something or someone causing these events, but I can't tell who or what it is, or even whether it is benign or malevolent. I think we should go back downstairs and ponder this some more over the tea which Vientu has hopefully made by now. |

*arrives with a tea and biscuit laden tray* i think we either need to take Christie back to the door, although that could be dangerous since we don't know what's behind it or try and work out why she's had these sleep-like trances. *se dibs a biscuit in her tea for too long so it breaks off and falls in making the tea ruined with mushy biscuit, she then puts the tea back on the table and sulks for a minute.* |

* Josiah Grimm chuckles at Vientu * I agree - I don't want to use Christie to open the door until I have a better idea of what's behind it. I think we need to take a trip to the library. What are your thoughts, Fidei? |
