Like me a jack of all trades in the news bussiness. You will report you will run the presses you may even have to stand on the street and hawk the paper.

I know your new to the region so this gives you a more unbiased way too look at things.

Well first off before I give you an assignment I need to know if you have experecne? If you don't that's okay you got enthusiasim which may be even more important.

Do you know how to run a printing press?

Are we talking off-set lithography or an electrostatic plateless system? Either way, I can run your printing press.

As for experience, I wrote for my school paper and was involved in proof reading, layout and design, production management and eventually became assistant editor. My coverage of the Class President elections were well received.

As for my enthusiasm level, eager is a word I often hear in relation to myself. What skills I have, I will use to the best of my ability. What I don't know, I'll learn.

I'm ready for anything.

Excellent.

OOC I should have posted this before I did in the townhall this is a last half of the 19th century setting. So we have to hand set the print on the printing machine.

The machine is run mannualy. /OCC

One last thing before we begin I would suggest if you don't know how to usea gun you go learn how to use one and shoot straight. I would suggest you try the Ammu-Nation see if they can teach you or suggest someone who can. I don't want to be payin for no funnerals if we go after some of the land barrons around here. If they can't get yourself a sidearm and I'll teach you.

The story I'm working on is about LadyRebels. A greedy land baron with nothing but malice in him recently tried to steal her land rights by accusing her of bein' a racist. Well those of of who know the Lady circeled our wagons round her and we defended the region. I was one of those people so I don't think I could present the story from an unbiassed postion you can so the story is yours.

I'd suggest you get some comments from LadyRebels she owns Lampshades R Us. You could talk to the gents at Ammu-Nation as well and fudge over at the coffehouse. We all defended the SP against 2 mangie pollcats Franco of Spain and Savage Lands Reloaded. The scum of the earth as far as I am concerned.

Beyond that keep an eye on the barber shop I hear that shady deals are bein made there and they already know me so they won't tell me nothing.

Welcome aboard

Draws his colt from the holster so fast you don't see it if you blink and shoots through an open window and clips off the tip of a branch 500 yards away.

*Sight of gun and talk of robber barons turns Blackshear pale. He looks around uncomfortably.*

Um, I've got to go.
