I can't stand Coors Light, Bud (any kind), Miller Light - it doesn't taste like anything. I like a lot of different stuff: Mostly Ales and Lagers. Some stouts are ok - I'd have to be in the mood for it.

Good site is www.beeradvocate.com

Ever try Harps Lagers or Bass ale? Both are premo I also liked when I used to drink Fosters and Molsen.

Love harps. If you want a nice drink, order a Black and Tan- half a pint of Harps, half a pint of Guiness

tired traveller walks in looking for somewhere to stay ..

"Hmmm. Looks pretty rough. But it's on;y for a little while"

"Anyone here! HELLOOO!?"

Don't kow what time it is here. I'm not from these parts. thought I'd come down and check it out.
LR sent me a message ... an invite to these parts.

"Halllooo!? Anyone? Just need a room"

Pulls up a chair near a table with cards strewn about. idly plays with them.
It's strangely quiet ...
Draws another chair up with his feet and rests them aboard, settling in for a quick snooze

(Yawns) So tired. At least it's warm.

Zzzzzz -_-

Somewhere inbetween, the truth lies.

Hazel sees the dusty stranger sitting alone and invites him to join the poker game and beer discussion.

"We have a special Guiness on tap made with Elven spring water that really hits the spot."

Somewhere inbetween, the truth lies.

Asleep in her room after excusing herself from the poker party that appears to be still going on, Hazel is jarred awake by shouts below. Throwing on a blue satin robe she hurries downstairs to find SFC Darvin in the caring hands of Janet who is crying hyserically.

Fred the clerk has listened to Darvin's story and is searching for the elusive girl who brought him in. Sawed off shotgun in hand he lumbers around to the back of the hotel...

you won't find her out there, she's long gone, coward. We have a score to settle. I'll find her soon enough. Then we shall talk. I have a few things that need to be discussed.
*reaches down for pistol; not finding it, he swears out loud*
Still got that baretta the boss left here, i need it.

Wow, ok you're just gonna drag my body through the streets and then pass it off as "just a job." I could do a job on you right here. :glare: Give my one reason not to kill you.

Somewhere inbetween, the truth lies.

Hazel waves off Fred who hearing the pistol shot has run back in and levelled his shotgun at Darvin.

Stepping inbetween Fidei and Darvin, "Okay Darvin stand down, and you Fidei, I want some answers like what's going on at the Funeral Parlor? Lots of skulking around lately I hear."

Somewhere inbetween, the truth lies.

I hand Fidei a clean towel for her cut hand and see that Ricky is firing up the kitchen preparing for the early risers, and those who heard the gunshot.

"Who wants coffee?" I yell as I carry out a pot and half a dozen cups that I fill and begin to hand them out.
