Also I am specific in regards to my discomfort being with homosexuals and not lesbians, like many other males I find the idea of lesbianism highly erotic, (even though this is obviously silly as while I might find a lesbian a 'turn on' by definition they are not going to be interested in me (a male) ).

I think alot of this has to do with what society accepts, if you are religious or not

It is "so called" normal to feel this way towards lesbians because MOST males feel the same way. (social acceptance)

Where MOST males feel homosexuals are "not" normal. (lack of social acceptance)

Majority rules!

Most males feel that male homosexuals are "not normal". Most females feel that homosexuals in general are "not normal"... I think perhaps that's because a lot of women don't find two guys sexually appealing, nor do they find two women sexually appealing... Myself excluded from this assumption, of course. :D

And I remember someone somewhere in the thread mentioning the "natural or choice" question... In my opinion, it's just a natural reaction, but you have to choose to accept and nurture the fact... Otherwise it might just go away. Of course, I'll bet I'm wrong on that, too. *Shrug*
