From the Office of the Arch Chancellor - 30/03/12

It has been an eventful few weeks since the last update with new FRA cabinet elections and the 6th Annual Defender Awards finally awarded.

FRA elections recently took place with a full cabinet elected. Wopruthien narrowly beat Scoochi2 and South Boston Irishman to become Arch Chancellor, while Frattastan regained his position as Chief of Defence and Lemmingtopias retained his position as Minister of Intelligence, Flowering Staplers was elected to Regional Recruitment Officer and finally Indian Gangs became the new Speaker of the Alliance. Wopruthien duly nominated Scoochi2 and Guy to become his new deputy Chancellors. I'd like to extend my congratulations to the winners and thank everyone for voting. I wish them good luck for the upcoming term.

The rangers have been extremely active already this month raking up 20 successful missions so far, 18 of which have been defences ensuring the minimal disturbance for regions. Our highly trained and elite ranger unit is once again looking to expand, so if you would like to enquire about joining the rangers please contact Frattastan.

The Speaker of the Alliance is currently looking at ensuring each member region is adequately represented, this will hopefully improve the relationship between the FRA and its member regions and bring back much needed activity to both.

Our Regional Recruitment Officer Flowering Staplers has been promoting the FRA and looking to help expand the organisation. If you are interested in finding out more about what the FRA can do for you and the benefits of joining she will be happy to help.

And finally, The defender awards, the results can be found here, were a resounding success. Despite a hitch with the lateness of the awards and delay in counting ballots, we had 32 votes overall, not a record but still a high number without any real advertisement for the awards. I'd like to thank everyone who took part in the awards and especially our well deserved winners.
