Gransazer: Episodes 33-35 I saw another three episodes of Gransazer last night (33-35). I could've gone for more, but my friend kept instant messaging me. Logia is so cool, and I enjoyed the character arc for Gorbian. These first two episodes had a lot of great mecha battles. The next episode was about average. The beginning was funny with Ran doing hip hop. The villain was pretty forgetable, but it was overall a good character episode for Ran. Gransazer seems to be implementing more of the characters lately. But my beef with Gransazer seems to remain constant. Tenma! He's a good character and all, but the way this show forces him upon us isn't doing the show justice. I understand that Tenma is Logia's rival, but in the Ran episode, she is defenseless, and Tenma has to keep bailing everyone out, and always gets to finish off the bad guy. The GranVehicles were a nice way to give the others something to do during the mecha battles. This show really has great battles. I was impressed with the part where the tanks were trying to take down DaiLogian and Youhi. Gransazer: Episodes 36-48 Well, I was bored yesterday and watched 13 more episodes of Gransazer, and the show's gotten good again. While Tenma's still getting the most attention, the others are getting a lot of focus as well, and are actually getting the chance to finish the aliens. The mecha battles in the show are just so awesome. Logia is one of my favorite characters. He always makes things interesting. The whole Bosquito plot was great too; and we've found out the secret of the ancient war. Although, there are still a few mysteries. Now that Gransazer has gotten back into the stronger story arcs, the show is really getting fun to watch again. I didn't want to stop watching, but it was late and I had to get up early. I'm looking forward to Justiriser. While Gransazer is a great show, it had its share of problems, and I'm hoping they will be fixed with Justiriser. I'm glad to see they've learned their lesson about trying to handle so many heroes. It's been a great ride, but there were times it really hurt the show. Gransazer: Episodes 49-51 I finally finished up Gransazer, and it was a great ending to a great series. While it certainly had its flaws, it started off strong and finished strong. The Gransazer were like a family, and they really built a nice legacy for themselves. |
