Is this an animated Tokusatsu?

What is this? Is this an animated Tokusatsu series or no? Eitheir way its looks cool.

In order for it to Tokusatsu, it has to be live action. However, this appears to be based on a tokusatsu whose name I cannot recall. I'll get you more on that a little later if I can find it.

I just asked becuase there alot of Tokusatsus that have anime versions. There all actually pretty good.

Actually, I believe you are half-right. Keep in mind that VR Troopers was made from two seperate Metal Hero series: Metalder and Speilban. That being said, this appears to be an animation of the latter series.
