I actually don't see it as a chance to revive it. I just think that Dinosaurs in themselves were a popular theme.. And every now and then, Toei does reuse ideas. They usually add to them and shuffle them about a bit though. I actually like the fact that we now have Dinosaurs with the special effects that they have nowadays. It's a great concept and it's what made MMPR so popular. I don't think it would've had the same success if had started with another incarnation. It might have, but I think that Zyuranger was the perfect choice. |

Actually his theory does hold some plausibility in my opinion. The ideas borrowed from Gaoranger are definately evident with the accumplation of sentinent bio-mechanical dinosaurs. With the exception of a dinosaur theme, two concurrent ranger color-dinosaur relations, and the use of a Braichiosaurus as a carrier mecha, Zyuranger is very different than Abaranger. Zyuranger focuses more on mysticism, medieval type social structures, magic, and inter-personal storylines. Abaranger seems to revolve more around science and uplifitng themes. |

I don't know. I guess they share the inerchangabilty of Zords in common. I really think that the costumes look like a cross between Zyuranger and Maskman. |

A little I guess. To me it looks more like a shifted version of the Zyuranger uniform (the white diamons going vertical instead of horitzontal) with less helmet ornaments. |

Abaranger takes it basis from other sentai Dinosaurs from Zyuranger Mulitple Zords and Megazord combos from Gaoranger The suits are a mixture of Zyuranger and Gaosilver Starting with only four heroes from JAKQ can't think of anything else |

I kind of doubt that there will be a lot of resemblence to the original Power Rangers series. The finale of Power Rangers in Space effectively ended that continuoum with the death of Zordon. |

I hadn't heard that. I'll ask Mh_Ch_Sh later and see if he has heard anything on his end, but I know that the possibility of the new ranger being female had definately been discussed. It's been a while since we've had a two-female ranger team in sentai, so it could be pretty good. |

Yeah, well I did say probably.. A second female Ranger is long overdue though. But it seems pretty obvious that Emri will be the fifth Ranger.. At least I think so. |

I agree though that Emri is pretty much destined to be a ranger. The way she handled fighting the rhinocerous evorian from Episode 11 cemented her future role for me. |
