I like the dinosaur theme, and I think that no matter what season MMPR started with, it would still be stereotyped as that. There was really nothing wrong with Zyuranger either, but MMPR wasn't exactly Zyuranger, short of the costumes, weapons, and Zords.

I atually don't hate MMPR all that much I like Season 2 and 3 of MMPR I only hate the first season becuase of the way it is stereotyped by these dumbasses that haven't watched PR in years. Did anyone think some of the names I used were corny I don't really like PR Bird Force I'd kill that one, besides there was a dubbed Jetman in Malaysia so Jetman kinda already got the English treatment so here is my revised thing 1. 1990-1992 Power Rangers Animal Strike (devloped from Liveman) 2. 1994 Power Rangers Star Storm (devloped from Dairanger) 3. 1995 Power Rangers Ninjetti which gets a theater movie release (devolped from Kakuranger) the rest stays the way it is Zeo-Ninja Storm etc I think that the stereotype would exist no matter what series was used for MMPR.. and Zyuranger was cool, but MMPR wasn't really anything like Zyuranger, apart from the costumes, weapons, and Zords, it was a completely different show. A few things remain the same, but I don't really see the problem with Zyuranger.. or MMPR Season 1 really.. I think people just like to stereotype.

Posts: 367 Group: Members Member #36 Joined: February 27, 2003	I have nothing against dinosaurs as a matter of fact dinosaurs is kinda what made PR awesome when it came out, and I'm looking forward to next years PR season but the bad thing is if we try to get any of the dickholes that only like MMPR to watch it they are going to think that it's some sort of homage to MMPR due to it being dinosaur themed kinda like how Jetman was a homage to the Gatchaman anime known here as G-Force

It's really their own fault for having misconceptions about it. I know it gives PR fans bad names, but I live with it. Just like I have to live with a lot of other things.

However, I think we must all bear in mind that when Haim Saban brought Zyuranger to America, dubbed it into English and added scenes with American actors, and then mass advertised it to the public (mainly the preteen set), nothing had *ever* been done like this with a tokusatsu series. They had no idea of how wide of a appeal PR would have, so they made it as "Saturday Morning Cartoon-ish" as possible because they had to have a start somewhere. It was impossible for them to fathom that PR would still be around ten years later, but here we are now. Subsequently, PR series have become more and more like their sentai counterparts. This is all thanks to those first three seasons that tested what was possible with an Americanized tokusatsu.

So anything they started with would've been at the same state as MMPR was. Village Roadshow is a little new at this, but they've got ten years of PR to reflect upon. Even if some of the crew isn't new there is a lot of new people and new experiences involved. Oh and Abre Blue, how come you were banned from Japan Hero?
