They normally do. Fate likes to mess with us that way.

My characters seem to have escaped the Mary Sue label, haha... :'D But they were on the very bottom of the scale - perhaps, I should beef them up a tiny bit.

Any tips for managing time? D:

But we will not quit (without good cause) this year! We will reach our word-counts! :D

We shall, or we shall die (from flu, from homework, from TAOW or dragon-cave addictiveness) trying.

On the "write as much as you can in the beginning" point Suz just made, I agree. Because if you stock enough word count in the beginning, the conveniently placed sicknesses and large projects and major exams that are bound to happen in week 2 or 3 have a 90% chance of killing you.

Otherwise, it's a 99% chance.

Thanks. xD Maybe I should take to drinking coffee... :o

What are you guys gonna do with the novel you write? Edit it, throw it out, or keep it for the lulz? I'm gonna edit mine... during winter break, most likely.

It all depends on whether the material is useable or not :o, but I generally save the docs for later editing (unless I decide to edit in November and fail agin xDDD)

National Novel Writing Month is the month in which people try to write 50,000 words over the month of November

:o You will not fail this time! I won't let you! xD

@Rei: Interested? :o There's a young writer's part of NaNoWriMo that you can use, since you're younger. :D You can set your own word count goal. And when you reach your goal, where you can send off your work to CreateSpace, where they'll turn it into a manuscript. xD

My teacher signed us up for that one, but I signed up for both this one (for class), and the main site (because I want to). ;D

EDIT: I'm going for the 50,000 wordz. My two girl writer friends are going for that, too. xD We're the only ones going so high.
