Yup. That's correct, according to last years US History textbook!

I like the British spellings, but I get points off if I use them in English papers... Though the first time I encountered Aluminium, it threw me off...

@Red: OMG IT'S ICHIGO RUN AWAIIIIIII

[/random]

And on another note, the title of this thread reminds me of behindthename.com....

Yeah, it does... xD But I don't feel that asking for people's real names would be appropriate for me.

But my name means "noblewoman", if you'd like to know. :o

Mine real name was created by William Shakespear (he created one character with this name for his comedy), although similiar forms of this name appeared in ancient times ^_^ Well I can't tell you the meaning, because you would all guess XD'

Ooh, Shakespeare...

*thinks of female Shakespearean characters*

Hm...Desdemona, Ophelia, Miranda, Juliet, Beatrice, Hero, Emilia, Cordelia, Regan, Goneril, (dang, why do I only know tragedies?) Lady Macbeth, Viola, um...(now, where did I put the Oxford compendium of Shakespeare...?) Hermia, Helena, Hermione, Perdita, Rosalind, Portia, Bianca, Catherine, Tamora, Valeria...

...there are more, but I've been anorakky enough with that lot.

Oh, Red? Kings have very little power these days. They're mostly just figureheads.

My real name has the same meaning as the name of the Celtic queen Boudicca. Go fig.

Lady Macbeth is definitely her name.... My real name is derived from Germanic roots, and means.... prisoner, or pledge. Oh, wow. Oh, it's French, by the way...

BTW king doesnt have to mean an actual king. its more of like an authoritative personality or having great power ... something i like ^^

bente-unerz36
bente-uno-erz 36
bente-uno-er 36

bente means 20 (although I heard it was spelt vente or veinte)
uno means 1
21er, meaning I'm from (section) 21

section21, sophomore year, was my best school year of my life. and then my friend come up of the name of my section, bente-uners. I changed it to bente-unerz to look more original.

Then 36, that's because that's my class number before :D
