The Ultimate Duel...

I am fan of a lot of things: Golden Sun, Breath of Fire, Castlevania, Pokemon and others...
One of those "others" is a certain game. Not video game, but rather a more RL game (as a collector, though, as of recent years).

That one, is the Yu-gi-oh card playing game. Back at the day, I would spend hours with my cousins, devising clever tactics and deck formations. Today, I am reduced to nothing more than a collector.

And suddenly...

TF2 came to my life!

A certain site has been my creativity ground, a place where my wildest imaginations could be put in Yu-gi-oh terms.

And my TF2 interest found a very fertile ground there...

I present, to all TF2 fans, the most ideal Card pack for anyone who would want to beat their opponent's, in a Yu-gi-oh game, with...TF2 style:

The TF2 Card Pack:

Monster Cards:

Token Cards:

"Fortress" Monster-specific Spell Cards:

Trap Cards:

Spell Cards:

PS 1: The Cards displayed effects are drawn from what the characters can actually do in TF2. See if you can figure out which ones :P .
PS 2: If you are confused on how the Yu-gi-oh game rules go, ask away and I will explain.
PS 3: I know all Monster cards are somewhat OP in ATK and DEF, but since when TF2 had any logic? XD

I don't know a thing about how to play Yu-Gi-Oh, but the cards look well-made. A few of the images could do with some better resizing, but the rest is solid. Good job. :)

I know, it took me a good while to get back to this topic, but now I am here. The new TF2 mode, Mann Vs Machine, was an excellent excuse for me to go creative on Yugioh cards again. This time, I am presenting an extension to the Team Fortress deck presented above, featuring the new Robot enemies of MvM, plus 4 more generic cards. Seeing how an important story leap this robot chapter is for TF2, I thought of giving this to the cards too, in the form of using a "Seal Of Orichalcos" motive for them.

For those who don't know, "Seal Of Orichalcos" is a special Yugioh card that served as the focal point for one whole season of the first Series. Up until 2011, it remained as an anime-only card, due to it's cleary OP effects. Recently, though, it has taken physical form, after it's effects having been tweaked considerably and eventually been made into a legit card. Here is the original anime-only card. And this is the official, real-world version.

With that out of the way, I now present you the new cards extension of the Team Fortress 2 deck:

The Major Card of this expansion, it's only Spell Card:

Monster Cards:

A new trap card, meant to compliment and complete the trap cards of this deck:

And 3 final, exclusive cards. These cards are the epitome of this deck. Draw them and you are the victor:

Note 1: "Seal of Orichalcos" had it's own themed monsters only in the anime. Real-life cards of them do not exist...yet. However, I went mostly with the anime form of "Orichalcos", hence why all the monster cards are deeply connected with the "Robot Army" card. And yes, this is the TF2 variation of the "Seal". XD

Note 2: Yes, the Demopan, Vagineer and Painis Cupcake cards are considered in all their entirety joke cards. Think of them as the TF2 variations of the Egyptian God cards. XD

Thanks Faizal.

Yeah I did my best to keep them all at a normal and playable level, without making them too OP (although their ATK/DEF stats are questionable at best XD). All except, of course, the 3 latest cards, that is. XD

At least, that way, one can hope that they can be closer to creation, someday. XD

One wonders where Robo-Engineer has gone off to, but perhaps it's best that he does not arrive with sure-to-be mobile turrets, portable dispenser backpack and remote teleporter raygun.

Again I'm having trouble commenting due to lack of Yu-Gi-Oh knowledge, but memes and infinite attack values... those I get. :P

Robo-Engineer...*shudders*
...Aren't these robots OP enough, man? XD

Well, the OP ATK was a given for TF2. But for infinite...
...
...hmm, I wonder how Exodia The Forbidden One would look TF2-style...
...heheh...
...hehehehehahahahaHAHAHA...
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! >:D

But of course!!! It has all been revealed to me!!! >:D

I will have to make a quick change. >:)

EDIT: Change made on my MvM cards post. Now there is a Christian Brutal Sniper card.

What, a five-card monster? One that is made up of multiple pieces?

Hehe...Of course, my friend Nox.

Here's how Exodia works: the Exodia system is comprised from 5 cards. If you draw all 5 cards in your hand, you automatically win the duel. Just like that.

And TF2 had that all along. How could I be so blind to the truth???

And now, I present to thee...
...TF2'S Exodia...

DEMOPAN THE FORBIDDEN ONE!!!

What does he even have ATK/DEF for if he wins by default? XD

The individual cards have ATK/DEF because despite their awesome effect, they are still treated as normal monsters, unless all 5 are drawn into your hand. The moment you draw the last card, the effect of the main card is activated and you win the duel.

So, win by default needs all 5, but until they are joined, they need something to hold their ground, y'see? ;)
