I bumped into this particular video earlier today. This video is shared worldwide and for a good reason as you will see for yourselves. The reason for uploading it has nothing to do with me being from Greece, or anything else for that matter. It's about informing other people about some things that happen behind our backs, to our today's "civilized" way of life. I'm not saying that all the countries in our world have or going to have the same fate as mine. Some can surelly have a better fate than mine. This video surely has no purpose to offend anyone's home and country. And to avoid causing any confusion regarding this matter, no, this video is not about taking down democrasy. It's about saving it... Here is the video I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6NhzVf0mIM&feature=channel_video_title A common tactic in a war is this: When the enemy brings some of your men down, your next move is to protect the rest of your men from meeting the same fate. That's what I am doing now. One soldier is down, but from his fate you can learn how to protect yourself and not meet the same fate. Tell me your opinions and thought's about these things that are happening to our world. I, myself don't have to comment on them...Because, sadly, I live them... |

To be honest, I truly feel that it's not just for me to comment about anything politics-wise in this topic. I am very unaware of the politics going on around the U.S. and the countries around the world. I prefer to keep it this way; I don't want to become an extremist or worry about "the fate of the country". With me and politics, ignorance is truly bliss. Anyway, that video. My general opinion of it is that it seemed biased. Ok, sure, that's what anyone can deduce with a Middle-School education, but just look at it. It's showing just how extreme things are becoming in Greece, and other countries the this form of government is affecting. Sure, they're making a point, and yeah, they're going to be biased on their point. It's only obvious. This is why I truly have nothing of meaning to say. I'll watch the video, I'll ponder it, and decide I shouldn't worry about it too much. I dislike thinking about biased view-points, especially after learning about WW2 in depth last year in History. I remember reading an article that a country media claimed WW2 didn't happen. Which was a s***-ton of bull****. It's things like this that I don't need to worry about, and nor should I put too much thought into. As a 15-yr. old high-school Junior, there's nothing I can do about anything, concerning politics. Sure, I can do something when I'm 18, but not now. I know this is probably not what you were looking for, Laby. But, those are my thoughts on the video. Unorthodox? Perhaps. My method of thinking? Only normal. Edited by Phantom, Sep 8 2011, 07:02 PM.

You have no idea how much I agree with every bit of what you said Phantom. Really this is the way of thinking we must have against the nincompoops that rule us: Normal. Logical. And true. Their canned and old way of thinking is taking us nowhere. But you were right about you, too. This is not the time to care about these things. Enjoy the joys of your age (not like other 15-year olds who shout "I support this party, I support that party" from such a young age). And on the biased thing, I tell you that this video was anything but biased. It explains all these things that happen around the whole world in a generall view, not biased. I've seen biased videos. Trust me, I know how they look. ... Not pretty. These are the opinions I like to hear. True and stable ones. Edited by labouka, Sep 8 2011, 06:42 PM.

The first minute or so that I could bear to watch showed it was just like other conspiracy theories I've seen, claiming a mass collaboration between banks and corrupt nations. The world isn't as corrupt as that video would make out, or Europe would have hit the fan decades ago. People are in debt because they borrowed what they couldn't pay back, and for some reason aren't admitting it, so then videos like these get made, preaching all sorts of nonsense. Frankly, I thought you were above such things Laby. |

I'm sure I cleared this out:
I am. I only put this up to share the thought's that this video brings. I do not view this video with biased thoughts. I am just fed up with this situation. And besides, I don't have to believe these things since I live them in person. You haven't lived what I live here, and I wish you never will.
What you say is very true Phimi. And I know what you will be thinking: The people must work harder then so that their goverment can pay the debt of the country. True. Indeed they must. But what happens when the goverment of said country does not pay the debt, but instead keeps it and uses it for their own greedy needs? I will tell you: they put the people work harder to get the money again, and then the cycle will repeat itself... Unfortunatelly for Greece this is not a conspiracy theory. It's the cruel reality. I'm not saying that good goverments don't exist. They do, but they are very few. And that's the problem. If they were more, then we all wouldn't be such a mess. And I sure hope that you will always have a good place to live. Who knows? Maybe someday my country will become one too for my children..This is what the video shows: what happened to one, so that the rest can avoid his fate (and I'm not saying that you are in this predicament. You are not, and that's why you must be informed of what happened to those who were, so that you protect yourself from that fate.)
Not the people...the goverment. Your goverment, phimi, is always just with it's debts, and those who do bad against the goverment's help to the people are met with extreme repercussions. Mine? No such luck (check above). (see, I told you. It's a repeating cycle...) |

ah... I'm not sure what's going on in Europe and America or countries from West-side of the globe... but I heard they're in trouble in terms of debts...? (And China's rising... which is scaring the hell out of me) Enough about that. All I can say is People have Rights. I might be the "silent-type" but I'll support you by sharing that video. :) And "bringing it down" isn't what I mean, it's suppose to be something "They are having trouble with it" or something like that. Meh, I'm having trouble with finding words, sorry ^^; |

I agree with what the video says about how a government can become corrupt when handled improperly. I think it is important that we do our best to prevent things like that from happening in the future, but everyone is entitled to say what they want about this topic, as long as this remains civil. |

tl;dr. Uh. IDK, I hate politics, think it's all corrupt and stupid, and like the microcosm of Robotics politics. Because it actually means something sans absurd need for money. >_> |
