Here Blue, I'll make a separate topic for it. :P

Anyway, my friends and I finished our first day today. My classes weren't that bad; I loved them, in fact. Except Math, since all my teacher did was read off the sheet she handed to us. My English teacher was right, at least one teacher did that today, lol. Note: College-level course teachers never read off sheets they hand out the first day of school, lol. I have plenty of Study Halls, I've learned. I've mentioned this already, but the school decided to put all my separate study halls as one block. They did that for other Juniors as well, and it's pretty obnoxious...

But yeah, overall, I had a good first day. Not bothering with History, I'm pretty sure it's due Thursday, lol.

Anyway, for Blue's sanity, discuss school stuffz here.

THANKYOUSOMUCH

... I might as well put why I am not looking forward to school.
School last year was just... meh. We had 4 courses one half of the year, and then 4 courses the second half. The problem was that the first half was a complete joke. The courses were simple and it was pretty fun, too. Then the second half came, and all the sudden I had HOMEWORK (the horror! T_T) It went from joke courses to serious courses. Ironically I did better in grades in the second half, though. I got moderately well grades in the first, and then in the second, I got a 90, 91, and 88 with teachers I hated, and a 72 with the only easy course (gym... I feel like a nerd.)

Now done with that pointless stuff, we got our timetables back with our second report cards. The timetables are only tentative, but when I looked at it, the first half from grade 9 is pretty much the exact same, with easy teachers in easy courses. The second half isn't too bad, but meh. I just hope the timetable is more even.

The other problem I have is that when Dark and I chose to do summer school, we were able to choose another elective, so we could have 3 instead of 2. I chose Drama (which is probably the least hardest course... ever). And now it looks like I have to drop Drama for French. JE NE SAIS PAS LE FRANCAIS.

Btw, I hope all of that made sense, because I'm just writing out stuff without proofreading or anything and just typing as I go along.

NOPROBLEM:D

I was looking forward to Junior year for quite a while. I hated the class of 2011 (with the exception of a few people) since Freshman year, and it's good to finally see them gone. They seriously got three field trips cancelled. Most of them are horrible. 2012 is a little better...but from what I saw from my Gov+ Law class today, I'm beginning to have my doubts. Why are Seniors I don't know always full of themselves?

Oh, really? The homework felt consistent throughout the whole year, really. Especially in History. I would often get no homework, but when I did, I certainly got quite a bit. I never really felt like I had too much last year. Except in French class. I dreaded doing French homework, it was always hard and boring. I think dropping it was the right decision, it was lowering my GPA. And you're the exact opposite of most people, lol. People get decent grades during the first semester, and then just drop during the second semester. At least, that's how I've been. And sometimes, the drops have been pretty bad...

In our school, Drama is actually hard because of the teacher. Most of my friends who are into Drama were discouraged from it because of the teacher, lol. I had her for English last year, I can sympathize.

I'm looking forward to finally taking hard classes that actually interest me. The teachers are nice and passionate about the subject (well, all my History teachers have been like that, but still). Heck, I think I'll even be fine in Math this year. I have a Study Hall with my Math teacher, and now I don't need to devote a whole separate period for tutorial. XD It's gonna be great.

Don't worry about not making sense. I just kinda rambled on as well. XD

How do forums work again?
lolschool

In all seriousness though, I really miss being in school. The one year I was in college was probably one of the better years of my life - my teachers actually accepted my art and graded me based on how good it was, and not based on favouritism. Let's just say every art teacher I had in HS was horrible, and hated me once they found out I drew anime. And graded me poorly in everything because of it. I rebelled and drew anime anyway just to piss them off lol

Stupid school not accepting me and stuff, grr. I really do wish to be in school -sigh- I must be a loser. Working just sucks the life out of you; especially when your manager is horrid.

Ouch, that really sucks. To be honest, I was nervous of that happening to me once I started to draw in the style of manga; although I was okay at stuff like still life, I couldn't draw people realistically to save my life. Still can't. And I was sure the art department at school wouldn't like that, so I didn't take Art in school once I got past Year Nine.

Kept drawing, anyway. ;P

I have absolutely no idea what my education will be like in the coming year. Uni doesn't start for another couple of weeks.

For the most part, my teachers have been pretty decent for my classes. Especially in History; people always tell me about my teachers the first few days of school, lol. There's only been a few exceptions, are as far my teachers are concerned. I've also heard good things about the art teachers from Suzu. I think you would've liked our Art department, Mustache. X3

What's always bothered me is the classmates, though. Pretty much all my classes have students I just can't stand. Freshman year was probably the worst. I really couldn't enjoy the classes because of the students themselves. My classes are much better this year, though. Even Math is ok. The only thing that really bothers me is my damn Orchestra class. It's full of arrogant underclassmen. I can't stand arrogance, especially when Sophomores think they can yell out and talk back to the teacher. Seniors, I can understand, 'cause some are pretty full of themselves. But Sophomores? Really? I'm sorry if I'm actually offending any underclassmen, but that class really annoys me. I can't even drop it, either.
