there is no such thing as Ultimate Equipment.
A lot of it's down to personcal choice.
Matthew has Sol Blade. Everything else is down to class and preference.

I can give you some options for your ultimate equips.

Matthew: Sol Blade and Valkyrie(NA)/Berserker(EU) Mail are a given. To maximise his unleash potential, give him Aegis Shield, Warrior's Helm and Ninja Sandals too. Also the Lord Sun ring.

Karis: Tisiphone Edge or Sagittarius Bow. Armour is harder to pinpoint, Mythril Clothes are a good option if you want her to deal damage. Mythril Armlet is very useful too. Demon Circlet's another choice if you want her to deal damage, as would Ninja Sandals and Lord Sun Ring, if you don't mind removing them from Matt... If you don't want to use Demon Circlet, Ninja Headband is another good option. Otherwise, just give her the strongest gear available, and if she's a Wizard/Pure Mage, you could try raising her Mercury Power with things like Triton's Ward and Spirit Armlet.

Tyrell: Depends on the setup you want. If you want a Ronin Quick Strike setup, give him Darksword and the strongest armour you can get. If you want to use Excalibur/Herculean Axe, get Mythril Clothes at least.

Rief: He's all about healing. If you want to use him, get his Mercury Power as high as possible. If you use him as an Angel, this is much easier. Triton's Ward, Spirit Armlet, Heirloom's Ring, etc. Although he's very slow as an Angel, so Zol Ring is a good option.

Amiti: See Karis.

Sveta: Depending on your patience/availability of Cleric's Ring, Umbra Knuckles, Anpsi Knuckles or Bloody Claws. For Armour, Mythril Clothes are good, just use the strongest of what you have for the rest...

Eoleo: Same as Tyrell, but without Excalibur or Darksword options.

Himi: See Karis.

Like I said-ALL of that changes according to class, battle style, and personal preference.

Crossbone Isle, in the room above where Dullahan is. Rather than going in the bottom door in the last corridor, go into the top one, grab all the treasure in the room with all the crumbling platforms, and finally get to the end. The Bloody Claw, Cleric's Ring and Worn Bow (which forges into the Sagittarius Bow) are in there.

Of course you'll have to beat The Chaos Chimera first.

Kinda hard to imagine who hasn't at this point, if the person has had the game for a while.

Somehow I just knew Matthew would be pigeonholed into the "Megiddo every turn" setup.

True. At least he gets to put something in a hole.

:Silence:
