Did you like DD or not?

I guess I can't really comment as I haven't played the game yet, but if there is some kind of sequel we'd probably get to access more of Weyard, like how in the original game you could only walk around Angara and Northern Gondowan but pretty much everything else was available in TLA.

I also hope GS4 tells you why all this new ancient stuff wasn't mentioned in the first two GS'. Even if it's a half-assed two line explanation it'd be nice if they at least recognised it within the game...

What I got from it that only recently most of these places were discovered, like the first ruins you go into, but still that does NOTHING to explain how a freaking giant wall appears out of nowhere. Where they even thinking that through?

One of the many reasons I believe that Dark Dawn's plot was made up as it went along. I really hope to see more effort put into this stuff in GS4.

I still found the plot enjoyable, though. Though it wasn't until the final boss that I actually had trouble. And Raven, you'll like this:

And now I'm trying my luck against Dullahan. Strongly considering making a file just for Suzu again and going back and facing the other bosses.

I beat him with my back row lv 42 and my front fow level 50.
Just used Pure Wish wish White Mage karis every turn, made sure everyone had waters of life, and made sure to always do at least 200 damage every turn to counter his hp recovery.

I enjoyed the game quite a bit. However, here's where it ends - if it hadn't been 7 years since the last one, I'd have raged. The problems with the game are the same as with the old ones - it's easy, the supposedly powerful psynergy is overshadowed by the attack command, some characters just plain aren't developed correctly, classes make no sense for some of the characters, etc...

I expect them to have more of a focus on fixing these things in GS4, since it's all but guaranteed to come out.

I haven't finished yet, but I'm really loving the game. I haven't played TLA so probably have a different perspective to others. I do think it's a bit easier than the first game, though, as I haven't got stuck nearly as much.

I don't mind so much about it being easy, i'm just a tad annoyed that they changed when you hard reset, you no longer attack first time in your first battle, and how they've changed the RNG so I can't abuse it to hell and back any more.

Easy is one thing, Phi. But this is ridiculous. Having just played the first two before I got DD, I can say that somehow, someway, they made an already easy series even easier. Just to add to the insanity, enemies now give so much experience that it's hard NOT to overlevel. Want those rare drops, but don't want to overlevel? Well wait until post game, because if you get them, you'll be way too high. Want to be the Star Magician before the Final Boss? Ha, don't even try. The SM alone will take you waaaaaaaaaay over target level (1.5 Million XP?! What is this I don't even...).
