Ok. So I'll be doing a runthrough of my playthrough on Dark Dawn here for your convenience. The game starts with a quick rundown of the previous 2 games events. Next is a rather long cutscene [a lot more character development in this game] which quickly establishes Matthew, Tyrell, and Karis as Isaac, Garet, and Mia clones. Tyrell nicks the Soarwing [a hanglider that Ivan made] and Karis gets pissed. Matthew gets his equipment and you head down to rescue Tyrell where he crashed. Next you'll be going through a small cave, followed by the Tanglewood. In the tanglewood Isaac and garet will lend you their djinni [AFTER Flint has given his 5 minute explanation], and they will also help in battle if your in trouble [it's worth not healing just so you can see awesome summons and such early]. After that you arrive at a small dungeon and go inside to rescue Tyrell. He's fainted due to a Psynergy vortex. The games first boss appears. It's a walk in the park as Isaac and Garet do around 300 points of damage with a basic attack, and it only has around 1000hp. After another cutscene, Isaac says your all going to go and have to get a Mountain Rock feather to fix the soarwing, and kicks you out of the house and onto your quest. After being on the world map for a bit, Flint comes along and joins you. You head south to Patchers Place and enter the Psynergy training grounds. At the end, you fight the Dim Dragon [a wooden Doom Dragon]. Once you've finished the training grounds, you should enter the grounds again. The time limit is more realistic this time around though. Now, when you get to the top of Mars Lighthouse, you will notice that the Dim Dragon is now meaner looking, and is red. This is the first Bonus Boss of the game, the Dim Dragon Plus. It's a little hard, but kill it anyway for a nice chunk of exp, and some water of life in a chest behind it. Go south on the world map to get through the Gome Mountains, and onto the Lumberjack camp. Collect all the Djinni in this area, then go south, as the bridge has been wrecked by Mt. Alephs explosions [De Ja Vu, eh?] Go through the cave/temple, and find Kraden, Rief, and Noell. They are looking at a Psynergy vortex. Blados appears with some soldiers and they attack you. Cue a cutscene where a 'mysterty man' appears, mocks Kraden (Kraden doesn't recognise him] and says that his companion has orders to let you live...At least untill you pawns have played your role. ....Yeah. Nothings changed there then. Go south through the cave and Blados will mock you some more, and you'll meet up with Rief. Follow the world map till you get to Harapa. I'll add more later. What happened to the previous characters: Isaac: Living near Mt. Aleph. Garet: Same. Ivan: Living in Kalay. Mia: Not mentioned yet. Felix: Vanished after the end of The Lost Age, and hasn't been seen since. Jenna: Not mentioned yet. Sheba: Same. Piers: Travels the world exploring ancient ruins. Nyunpa: Helped build Harapa [yes, he lived on as and I quote "A living mummy"] He's vanished though. Edited by Alex, Nov 29 2010, 11:46 AM.

At Harapa, you just stock up on supplies. The place is pretty much a desert at this point. You'll be coming back here later, but for now just pick up the Venus and Mars Djinni in the town. Leave the town and climb up through the mountains to reach Passaj. Here, you'll find the first of the Alchemy machines, the Alchemy Forge. Tyrell fires it up, but it's still not working, as you need the Sol Mask. After a few cutscenes, you head off to Athuway, which is under seige by an army. You can't get it, so head off to the country that's besieging it. Once you get to the palace, they ask if your adepts. Then they drag you in. The horned girl [forgot her name] is there. Tyrell comments that with a name like that she must be in league with Blados. The king gives you pretty much the same speech that babi gave to Isaac, but this time the heroes have a more clearly defined moral compass [I'm looking at you Isaac and co.], and refuse. You then get flushed through a trapdoor into a dungeon. Get out, and head back to Ayuthay with the letter you got from the king. Get inside, and after a few cutscenes, you end up meeting Amiti. A few more cutscenes, and you go through another dungeon. I'll add more later. Character update: Jenna is living in Kalay [dropped hints indicate her and Isaacs marriage didn't end well]. Piers is living in a port town. Felix is still missing. |

Marriage didn't work out? D: Oh well, makes neither Mud nor Valeshippers happy. That was actually kind of smart by Camelot. They'll probably make them go together in the ned, probably. >_> |

Hey, Dark, have you heard of this thing called patience? Recording video makes your game lag. In my experiences, at least. |

Ok, I'll finish tomorrow. Btw-The point where Blados blocks your path is a point of no return, so make sure that you've got all Djinni, Megeara and Zagan before you go. |
