I think wikia allows the creator of the wiki to set it up so that only people who have signed up can edit the wiki... If we can get that to happen, if someone tries it while signed in, we can just ban them.

Banning is not always the perfect solution.

No, but it is the proper punishment.

No, but it is the proper punishment.
But then you would be saying that anyone who is not a member should be punished...

Well, if you're refering to guests, then, yeah, you can't punish them.

If it's a staff member, (say, Moderator), then you could punish the person, since, technically that person isn't a member. S/he is a Mod. ;D

Interesting how the poll is different from the other one. >..> Now everyone wants to keep it instead of get rid of it for good like the last poll was...
I remember the outcome of the old poll being "get rid of it altogether". If that was that was decided, I don't get why we're keeping it...ah, well.

...Yes. We need some rules.
Actually, the Poll was undecided...And besideds, Caz and Red like the wiki, and once I finish writing the main site articles, it will look much better.

...And then it got confusing, because Red changed his mind and Caz apparently told Alex her opinion... Or something.

*writes this all down for my Shakespearean epic, "TAOW - Wiki Whatchitmacallit?"*

Comedy, or Tragedy? :P And here comes another reversal of opinion, at the last second...

No, actually, this prevents people who've not signed up to wikia from editing stuff. That's often a good thing, because of vandalism. It also lets us know who DID vandalize something or start the whole controversy BS in the first place, because they'd have to have a screen name on wikia to do it.

Basically, this is something where, given that this is a community wikia, OUR community wikia, we don't want some random people going in and messing with it. We want to make sure we know it's us, and that if someone else goes and screws with it, we'll be able to not only fix it, but keep them from doing it again by banning them from editing the wiki.

...Or did you mean ban them from here? How will that help? Guests can't even post here anyways, can they? Anywho, you'd need to just kick them off of our wiki so that they don't mess with it again.

And if y'all aren't signed up yet, do so. Otherwise we see your IP address, which means I can look it up, go to your house, and kill you. You sure you want that?

And yes, iirc, the person who setup the wiki can make it so that anyone not logged into wikia cannot edit the wiki. They should do so. It will drop the vandalism by a LOT. As well as any 'controversy' that may pop up. >_>

Less than 50% wanted it got rid of, and there was no choice that won by a substantial amount. Also, choices 1 and 2 were to keep the wiki, just in differant ways. So by your reasoning, 7-5.
Anyway, it's all a moot point. The wiki was going to stay regardless of the poll.

Anyways, I think we'll just leave the wiki as is, unless something bad happens. So, everyone! Be good and have fun! XD

Really Role, i want to HUG you!!! At least someone here knows what she is talking about. The whole point is to force guests to register and so if there is vandalism, we may block or ban the user from editing the wiki. So here is what i think the rules should be:

1) You must register on the wiki page to edit it. I mean c'mon its not fun to register if you don't get the credit right?

2) There will be no section about controversies. Honestly, this is what has gotten out of hand and causing the problem.

3) Any sight of vandalism will result in the blocking or banning of your account and IP address.

4) If you see any discrepancies on the wiki, contact any of the admin on the wiki page (like me and Alex) and we will resolve the issue.
