The Great Region of Texas officially issues Congratulations to each and every nation that was elected, that ran, that voted, that viewed these proceedings! These were some great elections as usual. This Trimester, there was quite a shake up in the Texas Cabinet races with two long-serving Secretaries stepping down and two new-to-the-Cabinet members winning seats in the Departments of Defense and WA Affairs! Wow! We did not see that coming at all. The other two Cabinet positions - Department of State and Lieutenant Governor - were uncontested and the Pharaoh and Hiram will retain their posts. Each and every candidate faced No Confidence and all succeeded and No Confidence got only one vote. The SecDef race was the only contested one and former-SecDef Trecdom put up a good race.

In Texas Constitutional matters, we had nothing. That was possibly a good thing. We take it to mean we have a solid Constitution needing nothing more, nothing less.

The Texas Representative Council Race was a good one too. There were only 5 positions open, yet there were 9 candidates. All the incumbents are returning with the exception of Green-ville, who stepped down. That left open one position and that was claimed by new-to-the-TRC Safj. Nice! Texas Government always enjoys new blood. We are sure one and all will represent Texas and its citizens as well as being truly representative of the region.

No Confidence was the big loser this Election. They only received one vote in one Cabinet race, but that is truly insignificant. It is heartening to see No Confidence coming up short because that means we had a good slate. We are sure it will spur those Cabinet members to step up their game in the next Trimester. The Governor defeated No Confidence resoundingly and it was a relief to see no votes for No Confidence.

Please join us in commending all of Texas for their participation in this Trimester's Election! This Election was light in the participation this Trimester. We do not get how out of 180 some odd nations, only 10 choose to vote. It is kind of sad. However, these jobs all require work, real work, not just role play work, so it is a tribute to those who did run. Texans are still very much alive, yet older, and are a dynamic bunch even after all these years! Kudos!

Big cheers to all the members of Texas Government!

Overall, this has been great fun and a highlight for all Texans. We look forward to seeing how the new freely-elected Government of Texas will make Texas bigger, better and greater than ever! Cheers to The Great Region of Texas!

A big, Texas-sized thank you to all who had the confidence to vote me into the office of SecDef. It's been a great honor to defend this excellent region and its fine allies and I consider it a great honor to lead our awesome troops into battle. I will not let you down.
