Hey y'all,

I seem to be the only one here tonight. I'd expected my esteemed opponents to come out and address you as well but I guess they just don't care about Texas as much as I do. As you may know, I've served as Vice President of this Great Region in the past, and I would like to thank everyone for their support and confidence in me to do so again.

You might know that I'm also on the ballot for Secretary of State this time around, as are three other fellows. Not sure where I was going with that line of thought, but hey... oh, right.. any one of the four of us would do a fine job over there... well.. one of three anyway, naming no names... but as I don't seem to have anyone running against me here for V.P. well..

Anyway.. I'd appreciate your vote.

Thank ya.

Fellow Texans,

I noticed that I was nominated for the position of Vice President even though I have been away for a while. While I appreciate the sentiment, NewTexas was right to pull my name out, as I would have been unable to hold the position this quarter anyway. Rest assured, I have a very, VERY good reason for being gone the last several weeks...again...which I'll go into via PM but I'd rather not post it publicly at this time.

I hope you all do come out and execute your constitutional right to vote, and I suppose Greenspoint could do as good a job as any.

Thank you, and long live The Region of Texas.

Sorry about that Mr. former VP! As you know, we did not do it with any spite or malicious intent; we were simply trying to be fair in a situation where we did not know if or when you may or may not be back. We have had so many deaths in the Cabinet recently, it is almost comical if it wasn't so sad.

We hope your life is getting close to being back to "normal". It is nice to see you back Buddy!

:salute2

Don't be. You were right to do it, I hadn't been on and my nation CTEd. In your position, I'd have done pretty much the same thing. But thanks for the welcome back, though. B)
