Article XIX: Texas Crisis Prevention:
If the President and/or the UN Delegate are unable to perform their duties due to losing access to their controls, the Vice President temporarily assumes the Presidency or UN Delegacy by endeavoring to gain access to the relevant controls instead. In the event of multiple Vice Presidents, the Vice President with the most endorsements assumes this role. In the absence of a Vice President to fulfill this role the Secretary of State will then assume the Presidency, with the Secretary of Defense to provide assistance as necessary. Once the President’s or UN Delegate's position can be restored everything will then return to its natural order.

It has been proposed that the following addition as the last line should be made for clarification purposes so that no one takes on another person's responsibilities without consent from the Cabinet member if they should be away from their post.
