My God, I love this region called Texas!

Even after a prolonged absence, I am remembered and have been warmly welcomed back with open arms. I am a former TRC member. My previous tenure ended because I entered treatment for alcohol abuse. Let it be known, however, that I do not blame the alcohol; it was my own immaturity that was at the root of the problem. Therefore, I am in favor of legalizing Romulan Ale. :martini

If elected (and even if I'm not), I will support this region with all my thoughts and actions.

OK, I'm like OFFICIALLY stepping down, I think, from my Council position because I'm also, maybe, running for Secretary Of Something Or The Other. Right? OK?

Viejo, all Texas Cabinet members are member of the Texas Representative Council as well. However, should you not win the Cabinet position, you may want to hedge your bets by remaining on the ballot for the TRC. We won't remove you from this ballot until you consider that and report back.

We here at Dolfor are honored to have been nominated for the Representative Council. Although we don't have stacks of gold bullion to offer to those to honor us with their vote, we can offer one thing that may be of use in these crazy times:

Sanity.

We here at the Sanity's Haven of Dolfor offer our insight and our analysis, from the discussion and handling of current events to the latest crazy WA resolution of the day. Sanity is what it takes for Our Illustrious Leader to keep his wits out on the wacky Left Coast, far from his Texas birthplace, and sanity is what we will do our best to bring.

If the confusion of noise and everyday insanity are too much for you, consider Dolfor; we'll do our best to cut through the noise like a man with a chainsaw and a shotgun with infinite ammo goes through a horde of the Undead.

I can make it happen!

As a member of the TRC I will promise to work with my representatives, and uphold all policies of which other people instate or pass. And of course do my duties as hopefull Vice President.

The United States of Fairlington are pleased to be nominated to serve the great region of Texas.

Fairlington consistently ranks at the top of the table in for its compassion, its environmental policy, and for the happiness of its citizens. In Fairlington, we believe that strength is not expressed only through the size of your GDP or the amount of men that you are able to call to arms, but also by the ability and willingness of a government to ensure that the basic rights of its citizens are accessible to all, regardless of race, creed, or other social, cultural, biological, or economic determinants.

Texas is great because of its robust democratic framework and the ability to transition peacefully from government to government. Likewise, the Fairlington government’s democracy carefully builds consensus through deliberate examination of all evidence and data and negotiating comprises. We pledge to bring this same philosophy to invigorate the Texas Representative Council while representing the ideals that have made Fairlington a beacon of justice, moderation, and compassion throughout the region.

Thank you.

The Government of the United States of Fairlington

Please vote for me 2nd term for TRC.

As my fellow candidates have said, I will also uphold the law and look forward to protecting Texas and helping It grow bigger and better. Through diplomacy and bipartisanship, I can help us build new alliances to supplement exsisting ones, and strengthen current ties.

Please vote for me!

Thanks

As long as we're considering a new TRC, could the members' badge in the next term not be so distracting?

Maybe like this?:

I'm supposed to make a speech here, too?
Okay.
Have some cookies while I think.

Like my position over in CounterCulture, it doesn't really matter if you elect me or not, because, well, I do the same stuff regardless. I'll still wish people happy birthday, ask if they're well, check on them, and stuff.

So vote for me or don't. It isn't going to make any difference in my actions.

More hot chocolate?
