These were some great elections as usual! All the incumbent Cabinet members who chose to run again for their existing position were re-elected. And several of them changed positions, including ex-Defense going to State and Immigration taking over Defense and Counterculture taking over WA Affairs! Whew! Quite a little shuffle. But, the highlight of the Election was the Texas Representative Council race. We had an unprecedented 7 new members elected! Again, we had an Election without any questionable "moments" in the races this year, but that is ok. It was a nice clean race. There was one Texas Constitutional Amendment up for a vote this quarter. It simply added one word and passed handily. This is a tribute to the stability of our Constitution. Big cheers to all the new and returning Texas Representative Council members and new and returning Cabinet members! Farewell to the departing ones, your service is appreciated and we look forward to seeing you once again in the future! Special thanks to all who ran and if you didn't win, we hope you run again in the future. Overall, this has been great fun and a highlight for all Texans. We look forward to seeing how the new freely-elected Government of Texas will make Texas bigger, better and greater than ever! Cheers to The Great Region of Texas! Let the festivities begin! The Party has already started on the same thread! The Announcement is posted here: http://invisionfree.com/forums/Texas/index...showtopic=47857 Long Live The Great Region of Texas! ![]() Big Tex President of Texas
