The Military Channel is brought to you by Pin Up Calendars for Vets (sorta)

Pin Up Calendars for Vets is a project set up by Gina Elise to raise money for hospitalized vets.

Quote:

A few years ago, I started seeing news articles about under-funded Veterans’ healthcare programs. Then, there were stories about older Veterans who lay in bed day after day, never receiving any visitors.  Reports started surfacing on TV about the severe injuries sustained by our troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The more I heard about the uphill battles of our Wounded Warriors, the more convinced I was of the need to produce a project that would bring in funds to support all of our hospitalized Veterans.

My late Grandpa Lou served in the army for 4 years during World War II.  I wanted to do something to honor his name.  I always loved the romance of those bygone eras - especially the 1940’s - and I drew inspiration from the World War II pin-up girls, whose photos and paintings boosted morale for our soldiers fighting overseas.

You're watching - The Military Channel -

The scene opens with Chuck Rambo and Gina Angelheart standing in the capital city of F799.

A tall muscular man in military fatigues speaks first.
"Hi, I'm Chuck Rambo"

Standing next to him is a young lady, "And I'm Gina Angelheart. Welcome to this episode of the Military Channel. Today, we're going to talk about one of the world's finest stealth planes that you've ever seen. The Sith Infiltrator!

Chuck: "Or rather that you won't see, which is the point. Designed to go deep into enemy territory undetected, this craft takes on the dirty nasty missions in places they can't tell us about. This craft is one of a kind and today we're going to get a behind the scenes look at this amazing craft."

(female voice-over)

The Sith Infiltrator

LENGTH: 26.5 meters

WEAPONS: 6 Laser Cannons

PROPULSION: Ion Drives

TOP SPEED: CLASSIFIED

(Chuck and Gina are now standing in front of the Sith Infiltrator)

Chuck: Designed by Raith Sienar and based on an armed courier developed by Sienar’s Advanced Projects laboratory, the Infiltrator’s most impressive feature is its cloaking device. For security reasons, we can't tell reveal too much about it other than that when activated, the cloaking device effectively conceals the Infiltrator from all sensors.

Gina: The Infiltrator can carry a wide range of tools and devices. A speeder bike can by deployed though an underside cargo hatch, while numerous compartments hold probe droids, torture devices, interrogator droids, surveillance gear, bombs, mines, poisons, weapons, and other equipment.

Chuck: This is General Grobnedor's personal starship. The General employes his Infiltrator to conduct missions of espionage and assassination. It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it!

Gina: The General has been kind enough to grant us an interview. General Grobnedor is a Sith Lord (She says it in a cheery sort of way, as if she has NO idea what a Sith Lord is) and frequently goes on top secret missions for the TDF!

The camera pans out to show a hooded figure approaching the pair. As if by some trick or simply good timing clouds roll in overhead causing the scene to get darker. The Sith Lord uncovers his hood and reveals his face.

(Gina is a bit taken aback...but Chuck keeps his composure.)

Chuck (who stands close to the Sith Lord so that the camera can see both....but not quite as close as most interviews go: So General, Why did you design this vehicle?

General: This vehicle is used for personal missions, as well as F799 and TDF missions.

(Gina now comes a little closer so she can ask her questions. It's pretty clear the General is a bit intimidating)

Gina: How long has this been in use for?

General: I have used the Infiltrator for quite some time, before I came to Texas.

Chuck: So, how many people does it take to fly this craft?

General: I am the only crew member

Gina: F799 is one of the most decorated nations in the Texas Defense Forces, where has this craft seen action General?

General: My ship has seen action, as you call it, throughout nationstates. Although much more than anyone would believe. Action only happens when one gets caught where they are not supposed to be

Chuck: General, what would you say the coolest part about this craft is?

General: (grimacing at the use of the word coolest) I believe that your viewers would find the cloaking device I have installed to be of utmost interest (I cannot allow pictures of it to be taken, for security purposes)

Gina: Of course! So, how many people get a fine craft such as this?

General: I, alone, possess such a ship. The rest of the F799 military uses ships such as TIE fighters, and TIE interceptors based in the Star Destroyer Immortal

Chuck: Are there any other cutting edge designs that will be seeing from F799 anytime soon?

General: There are always new ideas. How many of them get used, however varies. Eventually they all find a use though. *evil smile*

Gina: So, can we take it for a spin to show our viewers just how awesome this craft really is??

General: Absolutely not! You dishonor me enough already by wearing the weapon of a jedi.

(Gina and Chuck look a bit taken aback, but Chuck Rambo recovers quickly)

Chuck: Perhaps a demonstration then?

The General smiles menacingly and steps into his craft. The ship powers up quickly and takes off high into the sky. The cameras struggle to keep it in view. The craft turns and heads straight for the cameraman only to disappear completely. Gina's hair blows wildly as the air from the hidden craft rushes by.

The camera turns wildly, trying desperately to figure out where the craft went. The camera catches the crews camera truck moments before laser fire decimates the truck.

(As the truck burns behind them, Gina attempts a smile)

Gina: What an....explosive demonstration!

Chuck: ...

Gina: We'll be right back after these messages!
