Our Fellow Texans !!! It is always a pleasure to see that the people of Texas still have faith in our leadership and direction after more than four years of guiding Texas on its course in The World. We take great pride that we are still entrusted with the job of making Texas The Bestest Region in NationStates® We just want to let everyone know that we are not solely responsible for this. It is all of the fine nations of Texas that make Texas great! We simply help other Texans shape a Texas that they would like to play in. We could not do a half or even a fourth of all the great stuff Texas does without the help of many many of its fine citizens. We wish to take this opportunity to thank all of Texas! We would like to take this opportunity to say that even though many have come and gone in this game, it is still interesting and fun to us to meet and talki to people around Texas, the United States, The World. We have met many nice people over the years and will meet many more. We would also liek to say that we still have some ideas and activitites that we think could be fun and will add new elements to your NationStates experience. As time goes by, this becomes a more and more difficult task as things are tried and succeed or fail. But, NationStates is more than just activities; it is people interacting with other people. Our own little play world with real people grows closer every year. For example, four years ago, we never would have dreamed of meeting anyone in this game personally. Now, we have met over a half dozen in person. Yep, we have met the "creepy Interent peeps" yor mother warned you about! And you know what? Y'all are as cool in person as you are here! Texans are good peeps in cyberspace or in "real life"! As we have mentioned in the past, while we are not "technically" nominated, it is our distinct pleasure to wake up every morning and see that we are still "The President of Texas" through our endorsements! That gives us great satisfaction that we are doing something right and appreciate each and every Texans' support! We certainly know that this could change at any given time or day. Thank you all! We could not do it without you! Always striving to make Texas Great! Big Tex President of Texas

Theoretically, if someone got more endorsements than you, even without your permission, would they become the legal president of Texas? Not that I'd ever do something like that, jus' sayin' ...

Nope. That's a recent addition to the Constitution, Article 23 (XXIII). "President" is a pretty misleading title. But that's ok, because I personally wouldn't want anyone else in charge. |

Absolutely correct Mr. VP. No one will get past the 66% of our endorsement mark due to Constitutional changes. We may step down one day, but we like yelling at some of these bone-headed Resolution writers who want us to endorse their stupid Resolutions....
