***** State of The Region Address ***** December 3, 2006 Greetings Citizens of Texas! It is our great pleasure to announce that the nomination process is over for the Fourth Quarter 2006 Texas Elections. The following is the slate the new Government of Texas. This week will be a time for candidates to campaign, debate and make speeches on the offsite forum. Next Sunday we will begin the elections. Join all the fun on the offsite forum at: http://invisionfree.com/forums/Texas/index.php?showforum=152 Election Notes are in that forum as well. There is a fine slate of candidates this quarter. Almost all incumbents are running again. With the departure of Irish Families, so goes the Texas Department of Space. As a tribute to the job the incumbets have been doing, four races are going unchallenged (they will all face the pesky No Confidence vote however!). Once again, the Vice Presidency looks to be the "hot" race this year! Defense should be quite a race as well as Sports Commissioner and UN Affairs! Texas salutes all our Secretaries, Commissioners and Representatives! Congratulations to all the Candidates!
