That's how euro-sports types keep track of who's winning in the league, rather than like in the US where we typically go by the win percentage, ie #wins/#games. They award points to the team for each win and each tie, in this case 2 points for a win and 1 point for a tie. At the end of the regular season, team with the most points wins, or moves into the playoffs, etc. |

Indeedy! Thats the way its running, its more legible and easier to understand for everyone if I have a point system-I for one didnt understand the win/loss ratio untill I started following Baseball in the US. |
