"Good afternoon and welcome to this special broadcast. In a feztive ceremony on Freedom Square in Billville today, President Bill will be revealing the newly designed flag for the Texas Free State of Freibergen. In a brief address earlier, the President indicated that even though the old flag had admirably served its time, a new flag design was in order to reflect Freibergen's spirit and place in the world. And now for a live report of the flag raising, we switch over our reporter on the scene, Peter Shark." ~ "Thank you, Vick! Well, as you can see, President Bill is walking over the red carpet towards the flagpole in front of the Billville city hall. The brisk wind is playing with the tassel of his fez, but it will soon have something else to play with! The President has now arrived at the flagpole, and begins lowering the old, trusted Freibergen flag, which will be transported to the Government Museum later today. An aide hands him the new flag. Silence falls on Freedom Square as President Bill starts raising the flag... It is truly an excellent design... And a massive applause erupts as the new Freibergen flag reaches the top of the pole! Well, Vick, I think the applause and cheers are adequate description of what has been going on here. Already several BBQ's are being wheeled onto the square, and it looks like there will be partying for a long time. This was Peter Shark, reporting from Billville, for Freibergen News Network."

I must confez, I've never seen anybody design a flag fezter. The design must have been feztering in your subconscious for some time. Your nation will look wonderful feztooned with this flag, and even though some people may not like it, you should remain steadfezt. |
